Maisie is a 1-2 year old female American Bulldog. She needs a loving forever home. She’s has been bred multiple times and now discarded. Maisie’s a gentle sweet girl who is a little unsure of new situations but soon comes for a fuss. She loves human company and has been around a child of five with no issues so could live with dog-savvy, respectful children 5+. Maisie’s not been socialised with other dogs and needs to be an only dog initially but I think with time she could be socialised with other dogs. Maisie’s never been around cats so needs a home without them. She can be strong on her lead if she sees something that interests her so needs an owner happy to do some training with her on that. Maisie is good at home and travels well in the car. She can open doors when left and will help herself to any food she finds lying around. Molly is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed. She is our extra special girl and she has been in our Cyprus Shelter for almost her whole life, having arrived as an unwanted puppy. Molly has so many positive attributes: Molly has the loveliest black and tan markings and piercing green eyes. Molly is full of character and personality, smiley, attentive, alert and very happy. Molly walks nicely on her lead, travels well in the car and seems to mix happily with other dogs and children.

Isabella is a 7 month old female Cross-Breed. She is a friendly young girl who is looking for a loving new home. Isabella is currently 13kg in weight and 45cm high, but as still young and could grow a bit more. Isabella would therefore be a medium/large girl when fully grown. Isabella is sweet-natured and takes things in her stride. Isabella currently lives with two other dogs and gets along well with them and is accepted as a great member of the pack. Isabella has not yet been cat tested but is in an environment where this could be requested. Isabella has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and fully health checked. She is currently in Romania but very ready to travel to her new forever home.

Miruna is a 5 year old female Mioritic Shepherd Cross. She is a sweet, loving girl who just loves life! Although she still has lots of energy and bounces around as if she were still a puppy. She loves to play in the snow. Miruna is much smaller in size at around 20kg. Miruna has had a very difficult past, rescued from a kill shelter the day she was due to be killed and had to then undergo several hernia operations to ensure she was well. Miruna also sadly spent some further time in kennels when her rescuer was in an accident and the experience caused her to shut down again. As a result of these experiences, Miruna would be best suited to somebody who is home a lot of the time and can give her lots of attention. Miruna would not suit being left in kennels, so somebody who if they travelled could either take her with them or leave with family & friends. Yuma is an 11 month old female Cross-Breed. She is a lovely sociable girl, great with other dogs. Yuma is living in a house with her foster and needs to continue training and lots of nice walks as she’s very active.

Smurfette is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She is always smiling! She is such a happy, joyful little soul. Brilliant with children and loves the other dogs! Smurfette is a real ray of sunshine. Smurfette loves to play and run and enjoys lots of cuddles. Smurfette will need basic reward-based training as all rescue dogs do, and we are sure she will make a wonderful family dog! Jenny is a 1 year old female Shepherd Cross. Jenny and Jamie were rescued from a farmer who had been keeping a pack of dogs in very poor conditions on his property. Jenny is just under a year old and despite being a Cypriot dog through and through she looks like so many of the Romanian street dogs we deal with, so we’re hoping that she’s not overlooked in the same way so many of them are. Jenny is a sweetheart and although she has some Shepherd in her genes, she’s much more delicate with a slim, athletic physique. Jenny measures around 51cm from floor to shoulder and has a delicate, nimble frame. She is super friendly and loves being around other dogs and people. Despite her poor back story, she has retained a lot of trust in people and doesn’t struggle to socialise at all. Jenny is only a puppy, so she’s still learning how to read canine body language and figure out which dogs want to play and which dogs want their space, but she’s very, very clever and she’s picking up new thin...

Pedro is a 4 month old male Hound Cross. He was rescued after being found dumped in the middle of a field by a lady who was feeding the local stray cats. Pedro was also with his brother, Arthur, and the two of them were very nervous, to begin with. It took a while for the volunteers at the shelter to gain their trust after their first arrived but after some time they both now begin to come out of their shells and reveal their personalities. Of the two puppies Pedro is the smaller brother and isn’t expected to be as big as Arthur when fully grown. Pedro’s not as solid nor heavy as his brother, and is a bit more of a sausage at present! He is an adorable boy with the sweetest temperament and everyone who meets him falls in love so quickly. Pedro’s charming nature has everyone desperately trying to cuddle him at the shelter, and we just know he’s going to make the most lovely companion. Sugar is a 3 year old female Terrier Cross. She was very poorly on rescue and spent a long time recovering at the vet’s. Sugar has made a total recovery since then and is full of life and love! Sugar is good with the other dogs, loves to play and is good with children. Sugar is a lovely little soul. Sugar has full RBU, is vaccinated, passported and microchipped. She is also neutered. Misty is a 3 year old female Bulldog Cross. She came into our care from the inspectors and has not had the best start in life. She was mainly kept outside and came to us extremely underweight. Misty has put on weight since however is still on the skinny side. Likely, she will only truly gain the weight once she is settled in her new home as she does find the kennel environment quite stressful. Despite Misty’s background, she has the sweetest nature. She is a gorgeous, friendly and affectionate girl. Misty enjoys being close to people and seeks out contact. She is good on the lead but at present does not seem too interested in walks, possibly because she isn’t used to them. In her new home, it will be advisable that her walks are short, to begin with, and kept to the same route. This will help her to get used to the environment so that she should begin to feel more confident. Misty seems to travel well in the car and is calm. Poppet is an 8 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He was rescued by the police from an overcrowded home where he and nine other dogs were living in impoverished conditions and lacking basic care. All of the dogs were confiscated from the household in question and taken to my local shelter. Poppet was lucky enough to be offered a home in the UK in September 2022, but sadly things aren’t working out as hoped. Poppet came from a home that had too many dogs and never had the focus or attention he needed. In the shelter he shared a paddock with multiple other dogs, most of which were a lot bigger than him, meaning once again he was often overlooked due to him being in the shadow of bigger dogs with equally big personalities. Now, in a home with another resident dog, it has become obvious that Poppet just wants that 1-2-1 attention for himself. He doesn’t display any aggression towards other dogs, it’s more than another dog can’t be getting any attention without Poppet interjecting. W...

Dipper is a 1 year old male Pointer Cross. He was born into homelessness after his mum was rescued as a heavily pregnant stray. Dipper was adopted and flew to the UK in July 2022 to his new home, but sadly now Dipper has reached adolescence his family just feel they can’t give him the life he truly needs. Heartbreakingly they have decided he will be happier in a different home, and so we are seeking a new family for this handsome hound. Dipper is a beautiful boy with fantastic nature and heaps of personality. He loves food, cuddling, shredding soft toys, chasing the ball, sunbathing, sniffing, finding the best sticks, and being tucked in at night. Dipper adores people, is very good with other dogs, is keen to learn new things and is fully housetrained. The main reason for Dipper needing a new forever home is that his adopters feel they’re not home enough during the day to meet his needs and because he doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long he becomes destructive and vocal. Simba is a 2-3 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a medium-length wirey coat in beige and white. He was an abandoned dog. Simba was able to survive by hanging around the bars and restaurants begging for food, and people took pity on him because he was so skinny and hungry. Now rescued, he is a beautiful boy, full of energy and healthy, a little bit timid at the beginning with unknown persons, but he is very smart. Simba learns to trust very quickly. He is learning to walk on the lead, and each day is lots of progress so he is much better. Simba is very friendly with others dogs, not food guarding, very playful and gentle. Not trained to a recall, just basic training, sit down, paw, but very keen to learn. Simba is a very nice dog, reliable, and always eager to do his best to please. We are looking for a home with another calm friendly dog for company for him. Some cats he will tolerate, some not. As for young children, we think 12 years should be the youngest. Mia is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She is not only beautiful she is a ray of sunshine! She loves her doggy pals and gets on well with the other dogs. Mia loves a cuddle but can be a little shy until she gets to know you. Mia is child friendly and very loving. Mia has had practice lead walking as you can see and did quite well.
