Misty – 3 year old female Bulldog Cross

Misty is a 3 year old female Bulldog Cross. She came into our care from the inspectors and has not had the best start in life. She was mainly kept outside and came to us extremely underweight.

Misty has put on weight since however is still on the skinny side. Likely, she will only truly gain the weight once she is settled in her new home as she does find the kennel environment quite stressful.

Despite Misty’s background, she has the sweetest nature. She is a gorgeous, friendly and affectionate girl.

Misty enjoys being close to people and seeks out contact. She is good on the lead but at present does not seem too interested in walks, possibly because she isn’t used to them.

In her new home, it will be advisable that her walks are short, to begin with, and kept to the same route.

This will help her to get used to the environment so that she should begin to feel more confident.

Misty seems to travel well in the car and is calm. She enjoys her food very much and isn’t fussy in the slightest.

Misty will need help with housetraining as she was mostly kept outside. She could be rehomed with children of secondary school age.

We think she is best suited to being an only dog so that she can have her owner’s full attention. Misty is a very special girl who is patiently waiting for someone to give her a chance.

Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her.
