Lyle fostered Norwich Norfolk. Lyle is a medium sized crossbreed aged around eight years old. Lyle has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He was not an easy dog to spot as he’s so quiet and just liked to lie low in his box being as invisible as he could. Lyle is now in a UK foster home and his true personality is beginning to emerge. Lyle is still quiet, prone to laziness and his favourite thing to do is to move from comfy bed to comfy bed. He is starting to enjoy his walks now he’s getting the hang of them, he is still a little stubborn in going where we want to go rather than he wants to but he is getting there! Lyle mixes well with other dogs, but doesn’t really have a strong opinion on whether he has dog company or not so could readily be the only dog in the home. Our extra special girl Suki is approximately eighteen months old and a rather small cross breed with quite a strong terrier appearance. Suki weighs just five kilos and measures nine inches from shoulder to paw. Having been found abandoned on the streets, Suki has been in our Cyprus shelter for one month. Suki is fun loving and energetic. With a zest for life, this dear little dog cherishes every moment and so enjoys being busy. She is staggering attractive with her pure white coat enhanced with black and tan patches around her ears and eyes making her quite a looker. Suki seems to be happy in all scenarios. After just arriving into foster, Brayleigh has been settling in well and getting to know her new life here in the UK!! Please meet Noble Nelson! Nelson is a 6 year old male Labrador Retriever who is absolutely adorable with his shiny black coat. Nelson was saved from the Chinese meat market by Harbin rescue. Yes, dogs are food in China. If you don’t know, the meat markets are absolutely evil, and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell. Nelson is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find his forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China, so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life! Mayo is a gorgeous 5 month old male Cross-Breed pup. He was found along with the rest of his litter in a bag in the river, having been left there to drown. Thankfully a lady found them and managed to find homes for them but a family that adopted Mayo are moving and decided they didn’t want to keep him so he’s now under the care of the rescue we work closely with in Spain while he finds a home. Trixy is a 11 month old female Cross-Breed expected to be medium size when fully grown. She was saved from the streets with her four siblings and their mum, who is a Dachshund. She measures just eight inches from shoulder to paw. Ellie has been in our Cyprus for two weeks having been surrendered by her owner who was no longer able to keep her. Our shelter manager describes Ellie as delightful to care for and has a wonderful and vibrant personality. The Kokoni breed was over many centuries for companionship and Ellie will certainly provide that for her very fortunate adopter.
