Chip is a 3-year-old male Cross-Breed. He is currently based in Cyprus, where he is waiting in a municipal pound for the chance to find a loving forever home. Despite his situation, he remains a friendly and hopeful young dog. Chip is described as a beautiful boy who has a gentle and sociable nature. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around people, showing that he has a positive and affectionate temperament. His friendliness makes him a great candidate for a home that can offer companionship and interaction. Life in the pound is not ideal for any dog, and Chip would greatly benefit from leaving that environment behind. Kiri – 2 year old male Pointer Cross

Kiri a is 2 year old male pointer mix. He was found by a friend of one of our volunteers who has cared for him in foster. It is now time to find him a loving forever home. Kiri weights approximately 15kg he is medium size. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Kiri needs a fully secured private garden where he can run and play. He gets very excited when he meets you and does tend to jump up because he craves human attention. It is something that can easily be overcome using positive reinforcement training techniques. Kiri is well socialised and gets along really well with other dogs. Kiri is a typical pointer full of energy. His ideal home would be with an active family with a large secure garden. He could be homed with another dog but would equally happy as an only dog with adopters who can commit to giving him time and patience and the exercise he needs. Kiri will return this commitment with both unwavering love and loyalty. Kiri can travel to the UK in April.

Currently fostered in North Yorkshire, she has been settling into domestic life and adapting well to her surroundings. From there, she made her journey to a foster home, where she has been given the chance to decompress and learn what it means to live in a safe and caring environment. He arrived in the UK in June 2025 at the age of five months old, and has been in a loving, supportive home since then. Sadly, due to reduced time to work on his training since a baby arrived, and his surrounding environment not being the best for his needs, he is now looking for a new family. Ivan is looking for a semi-rural home where he has more space, a nice garden to run about in, and a family who understands hounds. Dulce – 9 year old female Griffon Cross

Dulce is a medium sized Griffon cross and she is 9 years old. Dulce is in foster care in West Sussex. She is 9 years old (DOB 25/8/2016). She is 52cm long, 43cm high and approx 17kg. This is from her foster mum: Dulce has been with me as a foster girl since November. From being almost the classic hunting/pack dog she has become loving and somewhat responsive to a bit of simple training but I feel she will always be a free spirit! She loves being in the garden (6′ deer fencing all round) a real outdoorsy type of girl. Pro’s. She now responds to me calling her in from the garden. Lady – 18 month old female Cross-Breed

Please meet Lovely Lady! Lady is a gorgeous little crossbreed that is approximately 18 months old Cross-Breed. Lady was born in rescue kennels when her mum was rescued from the meat markets of China and promptly gave birth to pups. Dogs are food in China, if you don’t know the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell. Little Lady is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find her forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life! Mary is a 3.5 year old female German Shepherd Cross. Originally from Romania, Mary was found all alone when tiny and taken to a private shelter where she was very lonely. Mary spent three years there before she came to foster with a vet in Newmarket, Suffolk. Mary has blossomed; she loves life and all she wants to do is shake hands with you. She can be a bit nervous when she meets someone new, but once she knows there is nothing to worry about, she is fine. She is so friendly, affectionate, and loves cuddles. Mary is kind and calm but also enjoys a good run in a safe area. She is good on the lead and weighs 26 kg. Mary is just a very special girl. Stanley – 9 year old male Cross-Breed

Stanley fostered Royston Herts. Stanley is a small to medium sized crossbreed, he is probably around nine years old. Stanley came into our care four years ago from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He had been extremely picked on in the shelter and was very underweight due to other dogs not allowing him to eat. Far from being grateful to us for stepping in and saving him from impending doom, it’s fair to say that Stanley has never really been a “people person”. After years of hardship at the hands of humans we never really blamed him. So we’ve been ticking along for four years feeding him, picking up his pooh and receiving nothing in gratitude but dirty looks. Tommy is a 1.5 year old male Cross-Breed, medium in size. He was rescued exactly a year ago from horrid circumstances, having been thrown into a yard with his sister, Suzy, at just a few weeks of age. They lived on piles of rubbish, frequently escaping due to inadequate fencing and roaming the streets among busy traffic, constantly in danger. When rescued, they were emaciated and full of parasites. Tommy and Suzy can be rehomed together or separately. Amanda – 4 year old female Cross-Breed

Amanda is a medium sized crossbreed aged around four years old. Amanda fostered Norwich Norfolk. “Amanda was found in a remote spot in Romania, it’s a train crossing over the fields, she was dumped with a pup. Her teets looked like she had more pups but only one pup was wit her. This is common practice in Romania, they kill the pups and dump the mum with just one of them so she stays with the pup, she doesnt come back home and the owner doesnt have to bother to carry in the field all the pups” Amanda is now in a UK foster home. She is great with cats, dogs and all people and could live with respectful children aged eight plus. She could live with other pets or be the only pet in the home. This sweet and gentle girl certainly didn’t deserve the treatment she got in Romania, and it’s very much our job to ensure she finds a family who love and appreciate her. Please meet Resilient Rocky! Rocky is an absolutely gorgeous border terrier x corgi, we believe. He is 4 years old and weighs 15kg. Rocky was saved from the Chinese meat market by Candy’s rescue. Yes, dogs are food in China. If you don’t know, the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell. Lucky – 8 year old male Labrador Retriever cross Beagle

Lucky is an eight year old cross breed (we believe Lab/Beagle), and is one of our oldest shelter residents. We thought when he arrived that he would be snapped up, but unfortunately, he’s not managed to find his forever home just yet so we’re hoping it will be his time soon! Lucky was brought into the shelter as an owner surrender when a family member became too old to care for him. Noel – 2 year old male Podenco

Noel is a very gentle soul. A 2 year old small size Podenco boy who was found as a stray in a very poor state a few months ago. Since then. Noel has thrived in the shelter and is slowly putting on weight and proving to be a very happy and loving little dog. He would be suitable to live with children but would appreciate a quiet household at first so we have stipulated older children for that reason. He is quickly coming out of his shell and will not be timid once he realises that he is now safe. He is very good on the lead but is a little wary of heavy traffic but is improving daily. Not a fearful dog, just has not experienced anything. Another dog in the household would help as a mentor we feel but this is not essential. Noel melts when made a fuss off, he is real lovely dog who will grow into a super family friend. Mac, 3 years old, male, large cross breed. Mac is a friendly boy who has waited a while in the shelter in Romania for the chance to travel to a new start in the Uk. He is used to living with other dogs but has not been cat tested. Mac would suit a family with older children, a couple or an individual who wants a soulmate of the dog kind! He is gentle but due to his size her would probably be not suitable to live with young children. Mac has been neutered and microchipped. He even has his own passport which holds all his medical records and procedures. Mac has been fully vaccinated, including rabies and has had all the blood tests needed to comply with DEFRA regulations.
