Lucky – 8 year old male Labrador Retriever cross Beagle

Lucky is an eight year old cross breed (we believe Lab/Beagle), and is one of our oldest shelter residents. We thought when he arrived that he would be snapped up, but unfortunately, he’s not managed to find his forever home just yet so we’re hoping it will be his time soon! Lucky was brought into the shelter as an owner surrender when a family member became too old to care for him. Although he will had a home, it’s very possible that he was a left to roam free during the days, as is very common in Cyprus. He’s a confident, independent and headstrong little dog, and he loves human company almost as much as he loves food. Lucky is a short, stocky dog (he kind of gives shrunken Labrador vibes) who enjoys leisurely walks, lots of fuss and plenty of treats.   Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself: my name is Camel, I’m a 5 months old, male Belgian Malinois and dachshund crossbreed, and I’ll weigh around 20 kg when fully grown. I am currently in Italy. I was born around November 2025 and was abandoned by a car like a bin bag… but despite this, I’ve remained a very sweet puppy, full of zest for life. Noel – 2 year old male Podenco

Noel is a very gentle soul. A 2 year old small size Podenco boy who was found as a stray in a very poor state a few months ago. Since then. Noel has thrived in the shelter and is slowly putting on weight and proving to be a very happy and loving little dog. He would be suitable to live with children but would appreciate a quiet household at first so we have stipulated older children for that reason. He is quickly coming out of his shell and will not be timid once he realises that he is now safe. He is very good on the lead but is a little wary of heavy traffic but is improving daily. Not a fearful dog, just has not experienced anything. Another dog in the household would help as a mentor we feel but this is not essential. Noel melts when made a fuss off, he is real lovely dog who will grow into a super family friend. He is neutered, inoculated, microchipped, etc and is available for meet and greets at our premises in Wistaston, Cheshire by appointment only.

Meet Faye, a female approximately 4 years old medium/large sized Cross-Breed. Faye has a beautiful temperament. She’s nervous of new people but doesn’t take long to come around, just make sure you have plenty of treats around! She’s a playful girl with high energy and loves nothing more than her walks. Faye would make a very good walking companion. Faye is very clever and very food orientated so she is easy to train. Faye loves to play with other dogs and loves to be around people she trusts. Mac – 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Mac, 3 years old, male, large cross breed. Mac is a friendly boy who has waited a while in the shelter in Romania for the chance to travel to a new start in the Uk. He is used to living with other dogs but has not been cat tested. Mac would suit a family with older children, a couple or an individual who wants a soulmate of the dog kind! He is gentle but due to his size her would probably be not suitable to live with young children. Mac has been neutered and microchipped. He even has his own passport which holds all his medical records and procedures. Mac has been fully vaccinated, including rabies and has had all the blood tests needed to comply with DEFRA regulations. Hovis is a 4 year old male medium cross breed currently in the East Midlands. He was born at the shelter on 20 March 2021 after his mother, Rosie, was rescued heavily pregnant from a public shelter. Sadly, Rosie later passed away. Hovis has grown up in a rescue environment and is described as friendly. He has been child tested and is comfortable around children. He lives with other dogs and is good with them. He walks on a lead and manages routine handling well. Hovis weighs approximately 25 kg and stands around 52 cm tall. He is neutered and travel ready. Meet Max – 8-year-old Cockapoo boy Max is a lovely Cockapoo currently being fostered in an adult home in Gloucestershire, where he is living alongside other dogs. He came into our care due to the ill health of both of his previous owners, which meant they could no longer care for him. It’s clear he has been much loved and well looked after. Adorable little Molly is a 1 year old female Kokoni Cross and weighs only 5 kilos, the perfect size for lots of lap cuddles. She was found as a stray and has now come under our charity’s care. This little Kokoni cross is our golden girl. She is in foster care and lives happily in her foster home in Cyprus with many different dogs of various ages and sizes. She gets along beautifully with them all and enjoys playtime and zooming around in the garden. She has adjusted well to living in a home environment and loves nothing more than sleeping in your lap or bed, as cuddling is one of her favourite things to do. Bracken is a 4 year old German Shorthaired Pointer currently in foster care in Dundee, Scotland. He is a young, energetic and very sweet natured dog who has been through such a lot in his short life, but remains affectionate, people focused and super enthusiastic about everything! When Bracken was rescued, he was in a bad way. He had suffered a serious collision with a car which resulted in a broken left leg, a fractured left hip and a dislocated right leg. He underwent surgery for all of these injuries and has healed well overall.
