Alan – 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Alan is a 3 year old neutered male medium mixed breed currently in Lincolnshire. He is iElisa negative. Alan is described as calm and people-focused. He enjoys staying close to his humans and settles well into routine. He is not highly energetic and prefers companionship and quiet time in the garden over long, demanding adventures. He is fully housetrained and sleeps through the night. He has interacted well with men and children. Alan generally respects other dogs’ space and is largely uninterested in them. However, he can show dominant behaviour towards younger or smaller dogs. For this reason, he would be happiest as an only dog or in a home without young or boisterous dogs. He has not yet begun formal lead training and will require patient introduction to walking equipment and structured guidance as this progresses. Alan would suit a calm, steady household looking for a relaxed companion dog who enjoys close human company and routine.

Jodie – 2 year old female Kokoni Cross

Image
Our extra special girl Jodie is approximately two years old and the prettiest little cross breed with a very strong Kokoni content. Jodie weighs just six kilos and measures eight inches from shoulder to paw. Having been surrendered by her owner, Jodie has been in our Cyprus shelter for two weeks. It would be difficult to imagine a prettier little dog. Jodie has a lovely face with the brightest of eyes and beautiful ears. Her coat is a very special light tan, and she carries a white flash to her chest. Her personality is adorable with a bubbly disposition and high energy level. Jodie just likes to have fun and socialise with people. The most affable little dog. Sadly, Jodie has an issue with her haunches, and her gait is not perfect. There will be full medical disclosure to her very fortunate adopting family. Jodie walks nicely on her lead. Bambi – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Bambi is an 1 year old girl who will grow into a smaller medium-sized dog (current weight: 7 kg). She currently lives in a foster family in Hungary. She and her sibling were strays when tragedy struck — Bambi was hit by a car and suffered a hip injury. Thanks to surgery and lots of care from her foster family, she’s healing beautifully. Today, she walks, runs, hops onto the sofa, and will continue to benefit from gentle physiotherapy. This sweet girl has a gentle, kind nature. She can be timid in new situations, but once she trusts you, she’s a cuddly, affectionate shadow who loves to snuggle in bed. She’s also a little mischief-maker — stealing slippers, playing with toys, and happily chasing her ball! Bambi adores other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine friend. She doesn’t like being left alone, so a companion will give her the comfort she needs. This sweet pup is still getting the hang of walking on a lead and can be a little shy around traffic and crowds, but ...

Rudolph – 7 year old male Breton

Image
Could Rudolph be your perfect match? Rudolph is a 7 year old male Breton who was one of many dogs trapped at a municipal pound that was about to close. He was ill with various problems and nobody wanted to take him. When a fellow rescue asked if we could help, we couldn’t say no to this poor dog, and so ran blood tests in anticipation of taking him. The results showed that Rudolph had heartworm – he has since successfully completed all the necessary treatment, and is now doing very well. Rudolph also had an eye issue which needed surgery and he has an old break in one of his front legs. Despite all his previous troubles Rudolph has gone on from strength to strength and is now enjoying life and flourishing in his UK foster home. Rudolph’s foster mum gave him the nickname Goofball, and once you meet him you’ll understand why – he’s full of charm, personality and the biggest friendly heart. This lovely boy enjoys his walks and is good on the lead, but he’s just as happy stretching o...

Millie – 5 year old female Miniature Schnauzer

Image
Meet Millie, a 5 year old female Miniature Schnauzer who is a sweet and gentle girl with so much love to give. Millie is now in foster care, where she is showing just how easy and lovely she is to live with. She currently lives with several dogs and is perfectly polite. She mingles if needed but honestly would not mind being an only dog. Her real passions are home comforts, soft beds and being as close to her humans as possible, preferably on the bed or at least touching you at all times. Millie is house trained, sleeps through the night, walks beautifully on the lead and is calm and well mannered at home. Like many Schnauzers, and understandably due to her past, Millie has some separation anxiety. We are looking for a family who can ensure she is not left al...
