Chispa – 6 year old male Griffon Cross

Chispa is a 6 year old male Griffon Cross and is currently in foster care in Liverpool, UK. He was born on 19/6/2019 and measures 53 cm high, 90 cm long, 39 cm neck, and 59 cm chest. Chispa is in good health and tested negative to Mediterranean diseases. He does need regular ear cleaning around every 4 to 5 days and will let you know when they need doing. This is from his foster mum: Happy go lucky Chispa has been in foster with me since the end of November. He is a real sweetie. He gets along fine with my three other dogs and also any dog that he meets on his walks. Chispa is clean in the house. He enjoys his food and eats slowly. He will go into his crate voluntarily. He likes to eat his food there and will sleep in there occasionally through the day without fuss. Chispa can be quite vocal on his walks. Adonis is a 10 month old male Hound Cross who was abandoned on the streets in Cyprus with his sibling, surviving by eating from a local cat feeding station until they were rescued. He is now safe, but it is not the same as belonging and he needs a loving home of his own. At 27 kg, Adonis is going to be a large but very gentle boy. He has the most beautiful double coat that makes him stand out. He adores human attention and has a soft, eager-to-please nature that will flourish with the right family. Rudolph – 7 year old male Breton

Could Rudolph be your perfect match? Rudolph is a 7 year old male Breton who was one of many dogs trapped at a municipal pound that was about to close. He was ill with various problems and nobody wanted to take him. When a fellow rescue asked if we could help, we couldn’t say no to this poor dog, and so ran blood tests in anticipation of taking him. The results showed that Rudolph had heartworm – he has since successfully completed all the necessary treatment, and is now doing very well. Rudolph also had an eye issue which needed surgery and he has an old break in one of his front legs. Despite all his previous troubles Rudolph has gone on from strength to strength and is now enjoying life and flourishing in his UK foster home. Rudolph’s foster mum gave him the nickname Goofball, and once you meet him you’ll understand why – he’s full of charm, personality and the biggest friendly heart. Meet Millie, a 5 year old female Miniature Schnauzer who is a sweet and gentle girl with so much love to give. She has known love before, but her previous family travelled often and she spent far too much time in boarding kennels. They made the kindest decision to let her go, knowing she truly needs a full-time family to call her own. Millie is now in foster care, where she is showing just how easy and lovely she is to live with. She currently lives with several dogs and is perfectly polite. She mingles if needed but honestly would not mind being an only dog. Murray – 8 year old male German Shepherd Cross

Murray is an 8 year old German shepherd cross located in Spain. Murray is medium to large size, 8 year old GSD mix who has tan semi long coats and black masked faces. Long overlooked, he is a star of the shelter, and everybody loves him, so you have to ask why the hell he been there 7 of those 8 years? It’s just tragic and now it’s his turn to find a warm sofa and treats and loving cuddles. He is in the shelter with h8s brighter Calvin. Both are great with people and dogs. They are neutered, chipped, vaccinated, healthy and they have such wonderful, gentle natures, and are obedient, loving and all-round good dogs. Paddy is a small crossbreed aged around ten years old. Paddy fostered Norwich Norfolk. Paddy originally came into our care back in 2019. He was a quirky boy back than and is a quirky older man now! He was adopted by a volunteer who has loved him for his weirdness all these years but has sadly had to come back into our care due to unforeseen circumstances. Paddy is a very loving boy once he gets to know you well, his oddities have mellowed over the years but he still likes to get his own way. Paddy loves his walks and is a good boy to take out. He loves to veg out on the sofa and is a “Netflix and chill” kind of guy. Waffle is a large shepherd mix aged around three years old. Waffle fostered Norwich Norfolk. Waffle was taken to Roxana’s shelter in Romania when he was just a small pup. He and his two sisters were taken to the shelter in a bag by a lady in the village. His two sisters were adopted in Germany but nobody wanted him. Three years on and Waffle is, at last, out of the shelter and in a UK foster home. This lovable fool is having the time of his life already but there is so much of life’s wonders ahead for him. Dolly is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed, weighing 12 kg and currently located in Hungary. She was rescued in February 2023 from horrid circumstances in a poor area of rural Hungary, where she had been abused by people while roaming the streets. As a result, she was very timid when rescued, but she seems to be a Dachshund cross with slightly longer legs, making her a smaller medium size. Dolly is a lovely, soft-natured girl who is slightly timid initially but makes friends quickly once she knows you have a friendly approach. She is peaceful and calm in nature, and generally very friendly. She is sweet and affectionate and appreciates any attention she gets.
