Casey – 8 month old male Labrador

Image
Casey is a 8 month old male Labrador. He is being fostered in Devon in adult home and other dogs. Casey came into our care due to his owner not being able to cope with him, she was very honest about this and with a sick relative to look after was finding it all too much. Unable to meet his excercise needs and him getting older he was bouncing of the ceiling as you can imagine. Since coming into foster the first few days he was all over the place some of it stress some of it not really knowing what was expected of him and not understanding boundaries. First day all puppy stuff but no off switch. A week later, different dog, he is being walked a couple of times a day off the lead, learning about manners boundaries. Walking down to the town with his halti on you can see how lovely he is. He is learning about manners with the other dogs and not to jump all over them and is already much more relaxed and polite. Prince – 10 year old male Akita

Image
Prince is a 10 year old male Akita. He is affectionate, enjoys the company of people and has a super cute ear that makes him so unique. Prince is well trained, he sits, gives paw and he ‘speaks’ on command. He is good on the lead and enjoys his walks, he keeps up nicely with the younger dogs so he will still need a relative active home. We feel at this point Prince would prefer to be an only dog although we will look to test him further with the female Akitas at kennels in the coming few weeks. As we have no previous history on Prince we can only place him in a home with children over 12 years of age and we will not rehome where there are cats. Prince is fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered on 6th May so will be all ready to pack his bags and move to his new home after then. If this stunningly handsome boy has caught your eye we would love to hear from you. Prince is currently kennelled in Nottinghamshire.

Lassy – 7 month old female Griffon Cross

Image
Lassy is a 7 month old female Griffon Cross. She is currently in foster in Mauritius in a home environment. She will be arriving into foster care in the U.K. on the 11th May. She was found abandoned by her owners on the side of the road where she waiting for them patiently to return but they never did! Her fur was completed matted and infested with hundreds of ticks. Despite being cruelly let down by humans Lassy is still a very loving, friendly and confident girl. She loves her walks but also very much loves her cuddles on the sofa. She will need a family where someone is around majority of the time as she loves being around her humans. This is understandable after already being abandoned once. She is still a lively pup and will need training and boundaries. Anything left on the floor or lying about is Lassys! She loves children and is very happy in their company so children aged 6 and over will be considered. She has been cat tested and means them no harm but if they run she w

Dexter – 7 month old male Collie Cross

Image
Dexter is a 7 month old male Collie Cross. “I came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray and my microchip shows I have already have several homes. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am typical puppy with boundless energy and little training, and will need an experienced Collie home who understand how to help mould me into a well rounded dog. I am not a dog for a first time owner, or someone who is out of the house for long periods. I absolutely love to meet new people and am rather enthusiastic in my greetings, and am learning to keep all four feet on the floor when I say hello to people! I haven’t had any lead training, so this is a work in progress! I am very strong on the lead but am learning to walk nicely on a harness. When I first arrived, I would try and chase cars, but this has improved considerably with training. I am looking for a home with someone who loves training (using positive reinforcement) as I am like a little sponge – desperate to learn and be stimula

Image
Button is a 7-8 year old female Beagle. “I was rescued off the streets in Galicia Northern Spain – but i may have been an abandoned pet. I am being cared for by a nice vet lady that works with my rescue team at Rutherglen Rescue and Hounds2You. They have been very kind to me however i would like a new home in Great Great Britain to call my own. They say the weather there is very like Northern Spain in that is green and rainy. Im not great with other dogs but my rescue has video of me with them and they think ud be fibe with a male dog. A current beagle home would be an added bonus as you will know all the trickery us beagles get up to like escaping and bin raiding. My lovely vet friend will ensure i’m blood tested, spayed, vaccinated, chipped, wormed and flea and tick treated. I will travel with my blue EU passport and my DEFRA import certificate. I will travel with Hounds2You and will most likely be ready to travel sometime around the start of June. My rescue needs a completed app

Wendy and Wilco – 1-2 year old female and male Cross-Breeds

Image
Wendy and Wilco are 1-2 year old female and male Cross-Breeds. They in Uk foster. Wendy is doing well really picking up toilet training well and having less accidents in the house. She’s really enjoying getting out for walks and walks very well on lead. We know the aim was always to keep them together and we hope that this will be the case but we have also thought a lot about them both. Because of Wilco reactive behaviours we don’t think its wise for him to be rehomed with children under the age of 7 minimum really unless they are a dog savy house household know . The fosterer has children , but they are very knowledgeable about dogs and there behaviour and what to do and not to do. There’s a video of how Wilco is still reacting with his sister just so you can understand this a little better in the comments below. Wendy is a very happy and confident and absolutely loves people and children and other dogs so she could easily go into a family household with children whom where willin

She arrived in March 2022 and is now ready for her forever home, and what a lucky home it will be to have this wonderful little lady in their lives. Diva is quite the regal little girl, she walks beautifully on the lead, nose down sniffing everything in sight!! She is house trained, she loves her food and walks, and her home comforts is a must for her! Diva is very mischievous and when she is left to her own devices she will cause chaos with the other dogs doing Zoomies and generally acting like a spoilt unruly pup! She loves other dogs, she is always happiest causing trouble with other dogs and doesnt have an off switch – Diva by name Diva by nature! She is not destructive at all and is quite content being left for short periods. Diva travels perfectly in the car, and is an absolute joy to have. She will make yo

Daisy is a 1 year old female Labrador Cross. She was rescued from the Macedonian streets with her 3 sisters and her mother when she was less than 2 months old. In November 2021 she traveled to the UK, unfortunately, her foster home fell through while traveling so she had to be kennelled instead. During her time in the kennels, she unknowingly came into season and was in contact with an entire male. She sadly became pregnant. In January 2022, she found a foster home as she was finding the kennel environment very overwhelming. 3 weeks later her foster mum took her for a scan as she was showing signs of pregnancy. The vet told her that she was pregnant and she could give birth that night. He was terrified of humans and a trap had to be used by his rescuers. He now lives in a foster home in Hungary. Teddy is a sweet timid boy who is cautious with people on the first introductions but makes friends easily with some time given. He loves doggie company and they definitely help him get out of his shell. He is wary of children and tries to escape from them therefore he will go to an adult only home. Teddy is toilet trained and walks nicely on the lead. On walks he is friendly with all dogs but can be scared of boisterous or pushy dogs. Teddy would be best suited for an adult only home where he is not left alone for extended periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to giv

Zuma – 6 year old male Dachshund Cross

Image
Zuma is a 6 year old male Dachshund Cross. He weighs 12 kg, and shoulder height of 36 cm. He was roaming the streets for months with a fellow stray doggie, trying to survive before they were reported to the local rescue that collected them. He currently lives with a family and 6 other dogs and he is longing for a family of his own. He was a bit aloof after arriving to his foster family but he soon started to trust and now he is a smiley boy with a constantly wagging tail He enjoys cuddles and the attention he gets which is sadly not a lot being the 7th dog in the household. He loves people and is a happy active boy in general. He loves his food too and sits down nicely and waits until it’s his turn at dinner time. He is good around dogs but he is not particularly interested in them so he would probably be happiest as the only dog in the household. He likes running around with his current pack mates though and enjoys a chase. He has epilepsy and sadly he was surrendered by his adop
