Teddy – 8 month old male Cross-Breed
Teddy is a 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He was abandoned by his owners and was living in a forest between two villages for over a month. He was terrified of humans and a trap had to be used by his rescuers. He now lives in a foster home in Hungary.
Teddy is a sweet timid boy who is cautious with people on the first introductions but makes friends easily with some time given. He loves doggie company and they definitely help him get out of his shell.
He is an active playful puppy who needs a family with experience with sensitive dogs to help him further build his confidence. He is wary of children and tries to escape from them therefore he will go to an adult only home.
Teddy is toilet trained and walks nicely on the lead.
On walks he is friendly with all dogs but can be scared of boisterous or pushy dogs. Teddy would be best suited for an adult only home where he is not left alone for extended periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to give him time to settle and introduce him gradually to his new environment.
He would be happiest living with another well-balanced and playful doggie mate as he gains a lot of confidence from other dogs. He is a clever active pup who needs his daily exercise too so he needs an active outdoorsy family. As all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog.
He could also live with cats with the right introductions. Experience with rescue dogs essential. No first time owners please. Teddy is currently in Hungary and is ready to travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
The right owner will need to agree to have him neutered once fully grown. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
