Raina – 8 month old female Cross-Breed is a large-sized puppy who will grow into a large adult dog. She was abandoned alongside her sister Mischa at a kennels in November 2024 when they were young pups. Raina and Mischa are only just beginning to explore their independence. For weeks, they stuck close together, but now they’re starting to show their own personalities. Raina, the more confident of the two, is soft, squishy, and sweet-natured. While she may be a little shy initially, she warms up with time, trust, and reassurance, showing potential to become a wonderful companion. Raina is playful and enjoys running in the paddock with other dogs, often cheekily stealing toys from her sister. Rama is a medium sized crossbreed aged around a year old. Rama fostered Norwich Norfolk. Rama was a pup born to a chained mum in Romania. Thankfully she was spared the horrendous fate of chained life when all of the dogs were handed over to a rescuer, Rama and her mother included. Malna is a 3 year old crossbreed girl, she was dumped on the roadside along with her sister at about 2.5 months of age. She is medium size, weight: 15 kg, shoulder height: 44 cm. Malna is a lovely girl, she is friendly and kind and loves everyone. She is energetic and playful and sociable around her doggie mates. She enjoys nothing more than running around in the fields with other dogs, playing a chase. She cooperates nicely with humans too and is very kind with humans. Lola weighs twenty-five kilos and measures eighteen inches from shoulder to paw. She was a much-loved dog by her family who had to leave the country under the most tragic circumstances. Ralph is a medium sized golden Labrador cross aged around eight years old. Ralph fostered Taverham Norfolk. We believe this boy to be Rupert’s son and he’s an absolute chip off the old block with both looks and stubborn mannerisms. Poor Ralph spent years in the Botosani public shelter in Romania, his two brothers are still there and can’t come to us until we’ve found homes for the two such similar souls that we have already! Lucio is a 2-year-old small male German Shepherd type Cross. This handsome boy has already been through a great deal, having spent more than a year of his life locked up in a cage while waiting for his chance at a better life. That chance eventually came, and Lucio flew to the UK on 19 April, where he is now waiting for his forever home. Lucio is currently staying in kennels in Preesal, Lancashire. Before coming to the UK, he lived at a shelter in Cyprus, where he became a particular favourite of one of the volunteer’s daughters. Leo is a 9 month old male Cross-Breed, expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult. He is currently fostered in Bulgaria and is ready to travel to the United Kingdom once the right home is found. Leo is fully vaccinated, microchipped, clinically healthy, and has tested negative for Brucellosis and routine veterinary diseases. He is still too young to be neutered. Leo’s story is one of incredible resilience. As a very young puppy, he was hit by a car and left alone on the roadside for two weeks. When he was finally rescued, he was in critical condition with a severely broken leg. Because too much time had passed, surgery was not possible. Despite this, Leo showed remarkable strength and determination. With veterinary care, rest, and rehabilitation, his leg healed into a functional position, and he is now able to walk, play, and enjoy life. Mona is a 6 month old female Shepherd cross. She is currently living in a foster home in Leeds and is available for meets and greets with potential adopters. Mona weighs 12kg now and is not expected to grow larger than 20-25kg. This sweet girl has been through a lot of hardship since she came into the world and would love to find a home and family to call her own. She was born in a work yard in Sarajevo, Bosnia in the middle of winter, and has survived almost freezing to death, serious illness, and being chased by dog catchers. Sebastian – 19-month-old Toy Poodle, currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs. This handsome little chap came into our care from a breeder, having had very little experience of the outside world. He arrived as a completely terrified, shut-down little dog who simply didn’t know how to cope with everyday life. He was also in need of veterinary treatment. He had a badly infected mouth caused by retained baby teeth and painful ear infections. Mousey weighs four and a half kilos and measures seven inches from shoulder to paw. Having been surrendered as no longer able to keep Mousey has been in our Cyprus shelter for two months. Winnie is a small crossbreed aged three to four years old. Winnie is fostered in Hingham Norfolk. Winnie came to us a a couple of years ago from the Radauti public shelter in Romania. She arrived terrified of everyone and everything but over time has emerged into a plucky and cheeky little character who is loved by all in her foster home. Winnie is still worried by strangers and doesn’t enjoy being picked up but in many ways is a quietly confident little girl who is very popular amongst the pack in her foster home.
