Ripple – 5 year old male Terrier Cross

Image
Please meet Resilient Ripple! Ripple is a gorgeous little terrier type that is 5 years old. Ripple was saved from the Chinese meat market by Harbin Rescue. Yes, dogs are food in China. If you don’t know the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell. Little Ripple is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find his forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life! Ripple was initially quite bewildered when he arrived in foster with us, but that is totally understandable given he had a 14 hour flight followed by a few hours drive, he sat back and watched for a couple of days and was very submissive, although all he wanted was to have a snuggle with me, its very easy to fall in love with this adorable little lad. I mean, just look at him!...

Eric – 2 year old male Pekingese

Image
Please meet Endearing Eric! Eric is a gorgeous little Pekingese that is approx. 2 years old. Eric joined us from the pound along with 2 other dogs, all of which were in horrific conditions and needed immediate vet treatment. Eric arrived with us in January this year and is now ready to find his forever family. He has an amazing little character and makes me laugh all the time with his antics and demands! He is amazing and whoever adopts him will be very lucky indeed! He adores everyone and could live with cats and children aged 13 upwards, due to his very tiny size small children would not be suitable. Eric is actually bonkers, so full of energy and enthusiasm and will make you laugh all the time with his antics! He loves playing with toys, the more they squeak the more he wants to kill them! Eric is fab off lead and walks well on the lead as well. Eric will mix with dogs outside of the home and he will happily live with other dogs but he can be a bit bossy – typical Peke! Eric is...

Isa – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Meet Isa – 2 year 5 month old female Cross-Breed, a small girl at around ten kilograms. Isa is one of the dogs that we took under the wing of SPDC from a fellow rescuer who has found himself overwhelmed with dogs – in particular abandoned hunting dogs. Isa’s rescuer spent a few nights tracking her movements and leaving her food so that he was able to find and rescue her from life as a stray. She was just a scared little puppy, underweight and dehydrated when he managed to catch her. A beautiful little hound with stunning black and tan markings, Isa is still a little shy when she meets new people. But once she knows you she’s affectionate and loving. She will need some time to gain confidence in a new home but she has a lot of love to give. Isa is the smallest of the dogs that we took under our wing in November but she is best friends with Trixie-Belle who is more than twice her size. Trixie loves to chase Isa (who is faster than all her bigger doggy friends) and they enjoy a game ...

Image
Meet Ivy, a 9 month old female Beagle Cross with velvet fur, sparkling eyes, and a personality as bright as her spirit. Ivy and her siblings were found abandoned outside a church in Cyprus.
