Nami is one of the 27 dogs rescued from a hoarding case back in October — a group of dogs who had never experienced normal life, kindness, or a safe environment. Everything around them was unfamiliar, overwhelming, and often frightening. But Nami… Nami is one of the success stories in the making. She has made incredible progress since coming into our care. From a very scared and unsure girl, she is now so excited to see us, she is walking on a lead and becoming much more comfortable around people. You can truly see her confidence growing day by day. She is gentle, observant, and slowly learning that the world can be a kind place. Nami absolutely loves other dogs and takes a lot of comfort from them, so she will need a home with a friendly, confident dog to help guide her. Hi… I’m Jharna I’m a 9-year-old German Pointer, and somehow, after everything, I still believe in love. I was found in the middle of nowhere by kind tourists who saw that I wasn’t okay. They took me to the vet, and that’s when my story came out… I had a microchip, but I had spent my life being used only for breeding. Over and over again. And when I was no longer “useful,” it was easy to let me go. But here’s the funny thing… I didn’t let any of that take away who I am. Because I am still the most loving, gentle, people-obsessed girl you will ever meet. Bertie is a 1 year old male Beagle. Bertie is a sweet sensitive boy who is looking for a very experienced home. Bertie needs commitment to ongoing behavioural training. Bertie will be looking for an active home who will meet both his physical and mental needs. Ron is a four year old male Brittany. Ron is a very handsome boy. Small in size with a robust frame and vibrant colours. Ron is exceptionally attached to people. He would like to spend all day by your side! He loves cuddles and caresses and has a very good appetite too whihc will be great for training! Ron is very sociable with female dogs and but a little wary of other males, he will soon be neutered and we will see if he settles down more then. He is a very active dog, he loves to be out in the enclosure having a run. Ron was handed in to the shelter we work closely with in North Spain by his hunter. Meet Toffee, a 2-year-old small-medium male mix breed. Toffee’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was found on the streets after being severely abused and abandoned by his previous owner. When he first arrived at the shelter last November, he was terrified of human touch and didn’t understand what was happening. It took weeks of gentle care and patience before he began to trust people again. Today, Toffee is a loving, playful little bundle of joy. Meet Adonis Adonis is a Labrador Retriever mix, around 6 years old, and one of the 27 dogs rescued last October from a heartbreaking hoarding situation — a place where fear and neglect shaped the start of his life. When he first came to us, Adonis was completely shut down. He kept his distance, unsure of everything around him, and had no reason to trust the world or the people in it. But slowly, with patience and gentle care, Adonis has begun to blossom… and what a transformation it has been. Today, he is a completely different boy. Adonis now comes over for cuddles — something that once felt impossible — and it’s truly incredible to watch. Molly – 4 year old female Cross-Breed

Molly is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed. Molly is a very friendly and affectionate girl who is medium sized (about 20kg). She was rescued off the streets about two years ago by an independent rescuer. Molly was far too friendly to be living on the streets and had already given birth to a few litters of pups. The rescuer kept Molly safe at her house until this year when Molly came into our care. She is now living with our other dogs at the boarding kennel. Molly has a lovely calm demeanor. She loves it when the volunteers visit and gravitates towards them getting as much attention as she can. She will lay on the floor submissively offering her belly for belly rubs. She is a very easy going dog, you can pamper her, brush her teeth etc and she will welcome it all! She would be okay to live in a home with other dogs but would be equally happy being the only dog since she’s so affectionate and is more interested in people than other dogs. Meet GABE, a 2.5 year old, mixed breed boy and the TRUE definition of a cutie?patootie! Gabe is elegance on four paws. Watching him move today is nothing short of amazing, especially when you know where he started. He was found abandoned in the forest with a total hip dislocation — an old, untreated injury and he was seriously underweight After surgery, he recovered so beautifully he didn’t even need physio. Our superstar volunteers helped him rebuild strength and taught his left hind leg how to move confidently again. Now he’s 4 kg stronger, shinier, healthier, and even more wonderful than before — he is now 17 kg. And his personality? Pure gold. Just a baby, Louie the Labradoodle is only a year old, and he has experienced a lot of upheaval in his life. Suzy is a 1.5 year old female Cross-Breed, medium in size. She was rescued exactly a year ago from horrid circumstances, having been thrown into a yard with her brother, Tommy, at just a few weeks of age. They lived on piles of rubbish, frequently escaping due to inadequate fencing and roaming the streets among busy traffic, constantly in danger. When rescued, they were emaciated and full of parasites. Suzy has grown to be a kind-natured, healthy girl who is active and playful according to her age. Beautiful 6 year old whippet cross lurcher Breeze came into our care as a stray from the pound. We don’t know anything about her past but what we do know is that she’s an absolute sweetheart. ?We believe that she is around 6 years old, and it is clear that she suffered in her previous life. Our vet has confirmed that sadly, she has been used over and over again for breeding and due to a poor diet and lifestyle, almost all of her teeth need to be removed. Hugo is a 2.5 year old male Vizsla Cross. He is as sweet as he is handsome! He is currently located in Cyprus and is ready to fly to the UK once he is adopted. Hugo is a boy with a lovely character and full of enthusiasm. Hugo was found wandering in a village for weeks begging for someone to take him home. Hugo is an affectionate and loving boy. From the beginning, Hugo was a very shy dog, but his nervousness was not redirected into reactivity and/or aggression. Most likely his fearful behavior was a result of bad treatment in the past. Lonzo – 18 month old male Labrador Retriever

Lonzo is an 18 month old labrador retriever, yet another handsome boy in our care! He was found without a collar or microchip, wandering the outskirts of Nicosia looking for food and water. When he arrived at the shelter he was quite withdrawn and anxious, but within a day we saw a completely different character emerge. He’s now a very happy, friendly and sociable boy, and ready to find his forever home. Lonzo is estimated to be around 1-2 years old, so still quite a young dog who will need some focus and training in a new home. He loves people and is more than happy to make new friends given any opportunity. He is great with the volunteers that visit at the weekends, and he has bonded well with the shelter staff too. Jet is a super friendly three-year-old male Chow. He has lived with another dog previously and could do so again after intros at rescue. Jet has been in kennels for over a year while his owner was prosecuted for neglect. Despite this he is super friendly and loves company and needs a home with someone around. He is dog friendly and enjoys going out to walk and play with other friendly dogs. Jet loves people and can get over excited and bouncy so children ten plus who are dog experienced is advisable. Jet is a typical Chow and is strong on lead and will need ongoing training. He also likes to run and chase so a cat free home is needed. He is such a friendly boy who deserves an active home where he can continue his training. Chows require lots of grooming so any applicants must be willing to do the daily brushing and visits to a groomer when required.
