Meet Valentin, a 1.5 year old male Hound Cross weighing 25 kilograms. He’s a beautiful young hound who has already been through so much in his short life. Valentin came from a pound in northern Spain, where he was sadly stuck for six months before being rescued. Like many hounds in the region, he was likely a discarded hunting dog, but despite his past, he has kept his gentle spirit. This lovely boy is in excellent health – he has been fully blood tested (including brucellosis), neutered, microchipped, and has his passport ready for travel. Hannah weighs a perfect eleven kilos and measures thirteen inches from shoulder to paw. Having been found abandoned on the streets, Hannah has been in our Cyprus shelter for three weeks. Kyle – 12 month old male Collie Cross

Kyle is an approximately 12-month-old Collie cross, although he looks mainly Collie, currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs. Kyle started his journey in Spain as a stray. When I met him in June he was still only a baby and, although lovely with the other dogs, he was very shy and cautious with people. I knew he needed to leave the kennel environment and experience home life to give him the chance to learn to trust. He arrived with us in August and what a difference a month has made! Kyle has embraced home life beautifully. He quickly bonded with our dogs and, although initially very cautious with us, he has always been gentle and friendly. She was abandoned alongside her sister Mischa at a kennels in November 2024 when they were young pups. Raina and Mischa are only just beginning to explore their independence. We believe this boy to be Rupert’s son and he’s an absolute chip off the old block with both looks and stubborn mannerisms. This handsome boy has already been through a great deal, having spent more than a year of his life locked up in a cage while waiting for his chance at a better life. Leo is a 9 month old male Cross-Breed, expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult. He is currently fostered in Bulgaria and is ready to travel to the United Kingdom once the right home is found. Leo is fully vaccinated, microchipped, clinically healthy, and has tested negative for Brucellosis and routine veterinary diseases. He is still too young to be neutered. Mona weighs 12kg now and is not expected to grow larger than 20-25kg. This sweet girl has been through a lot of hardship since she came into the world and would love to find a home and family to call her own. She was born in a work yard in Sarajevo, Bosnia in the middle of winter, and has survived almost freezing to death, serious illness, and being chased by dog catchers. Sebastian – 19-month-old Toy Poodle, currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs. This handsome little chap came into our care from a breeder, having had very little experience of the outside world. He arrived as a completely terrified, shut-down little dog who simply didn’t know how to cope with everyday life. He was also in need of veterinary treatment. He had a badly infected mouth caused by retained baby teeth and painful ear infections. Underneath it all was a beautiful little dog who had simply never been given the opportunity to experience life beyond the environment he had always known.
