Leeroy, Oriana, Izzy and Khaleesi – 4 month old male and female Labrador Retriever cross Terrier cross Beagle

Image
About Nerissa’s Pups. Leeroy, Oriana, Izzy, and Khaleesi: Nerissa was rescued from the streets by the shelter with her four puppies, whom she had been taking care of so wonderfully. NOTE: Khaleesi is now rehomed but the others are still available. This brave mum was so lucky to meet Alex on the street, who went to every effort possible to locate her puppies and ensure the whole family was brought to safety. This involved the help of a GPS collar to see where this sweet girl was keeping her pups. Once the family was well-fed and had some vet treatment, they were feeling much better and have been settling into life at the shelter while they wait for their forever homes. There are three girls (Oriana, Izzy, and Khaleesi) and one boy (Leeroy). The pups are approximately four months old and around 4-6kg currently. Their estimated adult weight is 10-15kg. The pups are healthy, happy, and playful, exactly as they should be. We are very keen to get these lovely puppies adopted as soon as

Pekas – 6 year old male Dalmatian

Image
Introducing the absolutely stunning Pekas, a 6 year old male Dalmatian. His owner is very ill here in northern Spain and she is heartbroken at having to rehome her beautiful boy. I am looking for a very special home as this is the perfect dog. Here is what she says about him: He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and everything is in order. He is very noble, super cuddly, and pampered, sleeping in bed with her. She has had him since he was a puppy. He likes to walk and gets along with all the dogs he meets. He also gets along well with cats. He loves walking in the mountains and even rescued a kitten, with which he currently lives! Pekas is very good with children, as her niece has visited every weekend since she was a baby, and she is now 6 years old. He needs a family home with a good-sized garden. Pekas has had no issues and has been very loved, so only an extra special home will do for him. He has full rescue backup and can travel to the U.K. https://www.dogsblog.com/wp-

With his beautiful golden coat and chestnut eyes, Marley masters the “puppy dog eyes” and is impossible not to love. He gets along well with other dogs and can live happily with or without a canine companion. While he’s not keen on sharing his food, Marley simply barks to let others know to step back, without ever being aggressive. Marley has been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Kibou – 5 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Kibou is a 5 year old male Cross-Breed. He has a very sad past, but we desperately want to rewrite his future. Despite enduring a hard life, Kibou has blossomed into a sweet and friendly gentleman who is ready for a brighter future. Kibou once spent his days begging for food in the local town, where he was often chased away because of his skin condition. At night, he would return to the cemetery, staying near the grave of his former owner. When rescued, he was severely malnourished, weighing only 15kg. Thankfully, he now weighs a healthy 24kg. Kibou gets along well with other dogs, but due to his past starvation, he prefers not to share his food. Feeding him separately from other dogs will help with this. He enjoys the company of his many dog friends but can be bossy with other males, so he would be best suited to a home with a female resident dog or as the only dog. Kibou is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is now fit, healthy, and ready to travel from Romania to

Tallulah will be best suited to a generally quiet household with not too much coming and goings, and in a quiet location. It is important that someone will be at home for the majority of the day as she does get anxious when left. This will need managing patiently and slowly to give her time to adjust. Her foster mum tells us that Tallulah likes the security of having another dog around her, which has helped with her confidence, she loves cuddling up to her fosterers dog and playing with her. Tallulah is very treat orientated which makes training easy. She is still a little n

Beryl – 7 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
This lovely little lady, Beryl, is around 7 years old and a Cross-Breed little girl. Little Beryl charms everyone that she meets. She’s the sweetest, friendliest, prettiest little lady! Beryl was found by Constantina in the residential area near the sanctuary. She picked her up, of course, because it was a terribly hot day and Beryl was struggling in the heat on the hot tarmac. We took her to the sanctuary but we felt sure that she had just become lost from one of the houses nearby. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Nobody has come forward to claim her, and our attempts to find any owners have failed. And of course, she had no microchip. As soon as Constantina picked her up, she realised that her teeth had been allowed to get into a horrendous state, to the extent that pus was coming out of her cheek. We took her straight to our vets for a cleaning and extraction of a number of rotten teeth. She was a much happier little girl after that, pain-free and much more comfortable when she eats

Sammy – 5 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Sammy is a 5 months old male croos-breed puppy who was saved from the streets of Hungary along with his mum and 3 siblings (all adopted). He is expected to be medium size when fully grown. Sammy is the sweetest little boy, he is cuddly and affectionate and loves giving kisses. He loves people and does not cope well with living in a kennel, instead, he loves to be outside running around with his puppy mates. He is playful, fluffy, beautiful and adorable. He is very friendly around dogs and have the potential to live with cats too. He would be happiest in an active family where he is not left alone for long periods and there is time for his training. He needs to be treated as a treasured member of the family and be included in family activities. He will need to be given time to settle in his new home and get used to the new environment. Sammy could happily live with another playful and friendly dog or dogs, but he might as well be happy being the only dog and the centre of attention

Csopi – 7 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Csopi is a 7-year-old smaller medium size female cross breed. She was surrendered by the owner which left her heartbroken, she was shut down and depressed for weeks in the shelter. She is now opening up and is hopeful that she gets a second chance in life so she does not have to grow old in a kennel. Csopi is a very kind natured little girl, once her trust is gained she is cuddly and affectionate. She is more reserved with man but she opens up much quicker outside her kennel, she is visibly not fond of shelter life. She is quite chilled and calm in nature and could be a wonderful family member in the right home. She is not always interested in other dogs and that’s when she ignores them. However, she loves her mate on the other side of the fence of her kennel and also loves her kennel mate. She generally gets on well with dogs and she’s never shown aggression towards canines. She loves her walks and walks nicely on the lead. She is toilet trained, loves her food and loves treat

Rosie- 1 year old female Cross-Breed

She was dumped on the roadside along with her 3 siblings where their life was at constant danger. Luckily they were picked up and handed over to the local shelter where Rosie and her brother (Ricky) have been living since. Rosie is an absolute sweetheart, she has all the puppy energies and loves running and playing and being included in everything. She is very playful and kind, cuddly and friendly with everyone. Rosie loves other dogs and wants to play with all of them. She loves nothing more than running around with her shelter mates and having a good play.
