Sisco – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Sisco – a medium sized male crossbreed aged a year old. Sisco is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. Sisco was rescued as a pup in Romania and taken to the safety of a private shelter where he has sadly grown up. It is difficult to get black dogs to be chosen for adoption and common for them to be overlooked. Sisco has recently arrived in his UK foster home and his astonishment at what life outside of the shelter has to offer is both comical and touching to see. He is getting braver every day and learning about the world around him. Sisco is great with the other dogs in his foster home and would like at least one other dog in his forever home. He is a little worried by the safe rescue cat but could definitely get braver with those too. He could live with respectful children aged ten plus. He’s a real sweetheart of a dog who will be a joy to see evolve into the dog he was destined to be. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your ...

Elsie – 10 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Meet Elsie, a 10 month old female Cross-Breed, the scruffy little sweetheart who believes the world is made entirely of new friends she just hasn’t met yet. Found wandering the streets alone, Elsie wasn’t scared or shut down; instead, she was politely saying hello to everyone, tail wagging, hoping someone might notice her (how could they not?). Elsie is affectionate, gentle, and full of quiet charm. She has that wonderful “old soul” rescue nature—happy to potter about, soak up affection, and be wherever the humans are. She’s social without being demanding, loving without being pushy, and endlessly endearing with her scruffy looks and soft eyes. She settles beautifully into home life and would thrive in a calm, loving household. Elsie gets along well with other dogs, is kind with children, and could live with dog-savvy cats. She’s the sort of dog who makes a house feel like home very quickly. Now safe and cared for in foster, Elsie is ready to leave her street-dog days behind and s...

Amlet – 7 year old male Labrador Retriever

Image
Hello, friends! My name is Amlet, and I’m a sweet?natured, friendly black Labrador cross, around 7 years young. For the past three years I’ve been living at CyDRA shelter, patiently waiting for a forever home. Could it finally be with you? I might not love labels, but I do embrace one classic Labrador trait with pride: I absolutely love food! After what I’ve been through, I think I’ve earned it. I also love water—paddling in the sea, splashing in puddles, even a good hose?down makes me wiggle with joy. And my favourite game is chasing my ball; I’m a keen fetch partner and will happily play until it’s time for cuddles and a nap. You see, I spent my entire life chained up, barely surviving on scraps of food and little water. Then one day, everything changed. A kind stranger saw me and contacted the vet services, who called in a rescue team. That’s how I finally got a chance at a better life—and moved into the shelter, where I learned what it means to be treated with love and respect...

Ash – 2 year old male German Shepherd Dog Cross

Image
Meet Ash, a 2 year old male German Shepherd Dog Cross who is medium in size and currently based in Nicosia, Cyprus, but available for rehoming in the UK. Gorgeous Ash came to the rescue from a municipal pound where he was crying and desperately seeking attention. He is a German Shepherd Dog Cross, estimated to have been born on 03/12/2023, and weighs approximately 23 kilograms. Ash is not just strikingly handsome, his personality is just as special. He is deeply affectionate, loves close contact, and often leans into people for comfort and reassurance. He is cuddly, loving, and has a cheeky, funny nature that makes him a joy to be around. Ash forms bonds easily and thrives on human connection. Ash already knows how to sit and give his paw, which suggests he previously lived in a home and understands basic training. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and responds well to interaction. He is good with other dogs and walks nicely on the lead. Ash is sweet, loving, playful, and people-...

She was found as a stray when a tiny pup and raised in a foster home in Romania until she and her siblings were old enough to come to us in the UK June is a friendly little girl who will need all the usual input into training that all puppies need. She should be expected to pee, Pooh and chew and cause sleepless nights until settled and trained not to do so. Please consider the commitment carefully as it’s not ok to return puppies to rescue for standard puppy behaviours, believe us that happens! June could live with or without other dogs or cats and would be ok to live with respectful children aged eight plus. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your ...

Marshall – 1 year old male English Setter Cross

Image
Marshall is a 1-year-old male English Setter cross Dachshund. He is a medium-sized cross-breed with a very Setter-like face paired with charmingly short legs. Marshall has lived in a home before and is already familiar with family life, which gives him a great head start. Marshall is sociable, playful, and full of fun-loving energy. He is very dog friendly and has a puppyish way of inviting other dogs to play. Although he could live happily as an only dog, he truly enjoys canine company and would benefit from regular social time. Marshall is affectionate, friendly, and genuinely enjoys being around people. He loves his walks and thrives on playtime, making him a great match for an active household. He is also good with children and would fit beautifully into a family environment. Ghost – 9 year old male Coonhound Cross

Image
Welcome the gentle senior gentleman, Ghost. Ghost – 9 year old male Black and Tan Coonhound Cross, is currently in foster care in northern Italy and weighs around 30 kilograms. Ghost’s story began in the countryside of Calabria, southern Italy, where he was found abandoned and left to survive on his own. At his age, he wasn’t anyone’s “shiny new puppy,” and sadly, that may be why he was cast aside. But despite his rough past, Ghost has shown he’s still full of love and loyalty — he just needed someone to believe in him first. He is now in a foster home in northern Italy, and considering all he suffered — abandonment, bullying from people and other dogs — he is unbelievably sweet. Ghost lets you do anything, is calm when walking, very gentle, and truly a handsome boy. He has been spotless in the home since arriving at foster: no accidents, no barking, and he gets along beautifully with the resident dog. Ghost is good with dogs, cats, and humans, making him the complete package. P...

Bella – 1 year old female Collie Cross

Image
Meet Bella, a 1 year old female Collie Cross who is medium in size and gently learning how wonderful home life can be. Bella has improved greatly in her current home; she enjoys interactions with the foster and will even interact with regular guests. She did start off initially nervous and she still likes the use of a safe space, especially a crate. She will likely have a slow start and will need an adopter willing to give her sufficient time to acclimatise to a new home. Bella does not currently live with children but met children in Romania who she was good with. Due to her anxious behaviours, it is felt that children that are old enough and dog-savvy enough to understand that Bella will need her own time and space would be best. Therefore, children aged 12+ would be recommended, or slightly younger children for the right home. Bella has done better in homes which have had other dogs and ideally another calm dog would benefit her. However, for the right home, a dog-free adopter...

Tara – 12 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Tara is a small to medium sized female crossbred aged around twelve years old. Fostered in Norwich Norfolk. Tara originally came into our care several years ago. She was rehomed along with two other of our dogs but they have sadly all had to come back to us recently as their adopters unexpected health issues means she can no longer care for them. Tara has lived with cats and dogs but could happily be the only dog in the home. She loves her walks and is in good health for her age. She will need an adult family and can be wary of some men. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your do...

Clara – 7-8 year old female Mastiff Cross

Image
Please meet Cuddly Clara! Clara is an absolutely gorgeous dope on a rope, she is a mastiff mix but who knows what her breeding, what I can say is she is an absolute dope and everyone that meets her loves her! Clara is 7/8 years old. Clara was saved from the Chinese meat market by Candy’s rescue. Yes dogs are food in China, if you don’t know the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell. Clara is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find her forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life! Well, Where do I start with this Dope? She is 40kg of pure love, she is a gentle giant that just loves to be cuddled and give you her paw and she has the most smoochy face! She is a total joy to have and just likes to lay close to you. She walks ...

Suki – 6 month old female Miniature Dachshund

Image
Meet Suki, a 6 month old female Miniature Dachshund currently fostered in Gloucestershire. Suki is a beautiful young Miniature Dachshund who has just turned 6 months old and is currently being fostered in an experienced adult family home with multiple dogs. She came into our care a few weeks ago following an incident where she snapped at and bit a very young child. From the information provided, there were warning signs beforehand — Suki was clearly uncomfortable around that child and around visiting children in general. Given her age, it’s clear that something has happened to cause this fear. What we can say with certainty is that Suki is not a nasty dog — she is a sensitive baby who needs to feel safe. The dog who arrived with us was extremely wary of new people and quite barky. With time, consistency, and kindness, she has made huge progress. She now lives happily alongside five other dogs, is relaxed with the two adult children in the home and their friends, and regularly acc...

Leo – 1 year old male Pocket Pointer

Image
Meet Leo, a 1.5 year old male Pointer (Pocket Type) who’s small in size at only 4kg but big in heart! His start to life hasn’t been kind — likely from a puppy mill and later found abandoned. The people who found him tried to help but, without experience or guidance, he became reactive and ended up tied outside most of the day. He was sadly at risk of being put to sleep before coming into our care. Since then, Leo has had double patella surgery and shown amazing progress. He’s playful, affectionate, and doing well with calm dogs of similar size. However, he’s now starting to get depressed in the kennels and urgently needs a loving home. We’re looking for an experienced, adult-only home with no other dogs or cats. Leo needs someone patient and understanding and who believes that every dog deserves a chance to be the best dog they can be. It’s true – Leo is definitely a work in progress, but if you are that super special person who can give brave little Leo the structure, kindness, s...

Jackie – 5 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Our extra special boy Jackie is approximately five years old with the appearance of an undersized Labrador. Jackie weighs just eight kilos and measures ten inches from shoulder to paw. Jackie has been in our Cyprus shelter for a little over a month following the sad passing of his owner. Jackie is a tripod with his rear left leg missing. We believe this is as a result of a birth defect. Jackie is an affable and jolly little chap with a big heart and a huge personality. A beautiful appearance with a soft brown coat with subtle hints of white. His puppy dog eyes and zest for life are inspirational. Such a wonderful opportunity for an experienced dog owning family who will be blessed when Jackie joins them for his so deserved forever home. Jackie walks nicely on his lead and seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs and children. He is however not cat tolerant. https://www.dogsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/7b63d91d-b1b6-4137-a502-50aabf3c29c3-1.mp4

Image
Maggie is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed, expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. She is currently in Hungary and is adorable and playful, as expected for her age. Seven siblings were born in an abandoned property with their mum struggling to feed them when she was emaciated herself. They were taken in by the local shelter at three weeks of age. The whole litter was stunningly beautiful, and only two pups are still waiting for their families. Maggie is fully vaccinated, free from parasites, and ready to travel. She comes with an EU passport. She can live with dogs and older children. The right owner will need to agree to have her spayed once fully grown. Home check and adoption fee apply. Full RBU.

Jenny – 10 year old female Airedale Terrier Cross

Image
Jenny is a 10 year old female Airedale Terrier Cross with a heartbreaking past and a heart full of hope. For seven long years, she was left chained outside without shelter or kindness, while the world looked away. Her suffering only came to light by chance — her rescuers were returning another dog when they saw her standing there, neglected and desperate. Jenny’s eyes lit up as if she knew this was her moment, and when her owner was asked to surrender her, he did so without hesitation. Since that day, Jenny has been safe, but her home has been a kennel. A whole year has passed, and she is still waiting for the love she has never truly known. Jenny is gentle and people-oriented. She loves her walks and is good on the lead, though she can be a little strong at times. She enjoys chasing a ball and, while she isn’t interested in making doggy friends, she’s content as long as her space is respected. Jenny would be happiest as the only dog in the home so she doesn’t have to share attent...

Barney – 5 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Barney is an 5 year old male Cross-Breed. He has spent his entire life in a foster shelter, where he has been well cared for and socialised. As a friendly and affectionate dog, Barney has lovely markings that make him stand out, including a distinctive patch over his eye that adds to his charm. Despite his time in the shelter, Barney remains a cheerful and loving companion who is eager to find his forever home. He has been cat-tested and has shown he can live harmoniously with cats, which is a positive trait for potential adopters with feline friends. He is friendly with other dogs, friendly but nervous of humans. Barney is expected to be a smallish adult, making him a suitable choice for those who prefer a smaller dog. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and has undergone various tests to ensure his health and well-being. Additionally, Barney comes with a pet passport, which can be advantageous for future travel or if moving abroad. Being one of several siblings also awaiting ...
