Sisco – a medium sized male crossbreed aged a year old. Sisco is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. Sisco was rescued as a pup in Romania and taken to the safety of a private shelter where he has sadly grown up. It is difficult to get black dogs to be chosen for adoption and common for them to be overlooked. Sisco has recently arrived in his UK foster home and his astonishment at what life outside of the shelter has to offer is both comical and touching to see. He is getting braver every day and learning about the world around him. Sisco is great with the other dogs in his foster home and would like at least one other dog in his forever home. Bella has improved greatly in her current home; she enjoys interactions with the foster and will even interact with regular guests. She did start off initially nervous and she still likes the use of a safe space, especially a crate. She will likely have a slow start and will need an adopter willing to give her sufficient time to acclimatise to a new home. Bella does not currently live with children but met children in Romania who she was good with. Suki is a beautiful young Miniature Dachshund who has just turned 6 months old and is currently being fostered in an experienced adult family home with multiple dogs. Meet Leo, a 1.5 year old male Pointer (Pocket Type) who’s small in size at only 4kg but big in heart! His start to life hasn’t been kind — likely from a puppy mill and later found abandoned. Our extra special boy Jackie is approximately five years old with the appearance of an undersized Labrador. Jackie weighs just eight kilos and measures ten inches from shoulder to paw. Jackie has been in our Cyprus shelter for a little over a month following the sad passing of his owner. Jackie is a tripod with his rear left leg missing. We believe this is as a result of a birth defect. Jackie is an affable and jolly little chap with a big heart and a huge personality.
