Tazz – 3 year old male German Shepherd Cross

Meet Tazz – A Gentle & Sweet Soul in Search of His Safe Haven.

Tazz is a medium sized three year old male German Shepherd Cross.

Handsome Tazz is a truly special boy with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to help him shine. His early life was filled with trauma and while he carries some emotional scars, he has shown incredible courage and resilience.

When Tazz first arrived in foster care, he would hide away in the smallest corners, too afraid to face the world. But slowly, with time, patience and the gentle encouragement of his foster family and their dogs, he began to trust again – learning to play, explore, and enjoy the simple joys of life.

He eventually left for what was believed to be his forever home. Sadly, one year to the day later, he was returned (through absolutely no fault of his own) in a heart-breaking state, having lost much of the progress he’d made.

But Tazz is a fighter, he didn’t give up. Back in foster care, Tazz has made remarkable strides. He’s gone from being terrified of the lead to walking proudly on his walks.

He’s clean in the house, adores cuddles on the sofa, and plays beautifully with his foster brothers and sisters. His foster mum says: Tazz is the best boy once he gets to know you.

Once he feels safe, he’s a goofy, fun-loving lad who’s just happy to be here. I’d keep him in a heartbeat if he wasn’t so afraid of men, it would be selfish of me to keep him when I know he’d truly thrive in a female-only home.

He’s come so far, especially with the help of his doggy siblings, so a home with at least one confident dog is a must.”

Tazz is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe every day. His ideal family will offer:

Female-only household as Tazz is still very fearful of men, a Quiet environment with minimal stress or loud activity, At least one confident dog to help him feel secure and Patience, time, and lots of love to show him he’s safe and protected.

Despite everything he’s been through, Tazz is still full of love and hope. He’s ready to give his heart to the right person and deserves a forever home where he’ll be cherished for the incredible boy he is – Tazz is in foster in Stockton On Tees.
