Tommy – 1 year old male Cross-Breed
Tommy is a 1.5 year old male Cross-Breed, medium in size. He was rescued exactly a year ago from horrid circumstances, having been thrown into a yard with his sister, Suzy, at just a few weeks of age.
They lived on piles of rubbish, frequently escaping due to inadequate fencing and roaming the streets among busy traffic, constantly in danger. When rescued, they were emaciated and full of parasites.
Tommy and Suzy can be rehomed together or separately.
Tommy has grown to be a kind-natured, healthy dog who is active and playful according to his age. He is medium-sized and has a lovely happy character. He is very affectionate with people and friendly around kids, too.
Tommy is the more human-centred of the siblings. He loves giving kisses and is a lapdog by nature.
He is also playful and happy around other dogs.
Tommy would be happiest in a family where he is not left alone for extended periods and there is time for his training. We want him to be treated as a treasured member of the family and be taken on nice adventures. He will need time to settle into his new home and get used to his environment.
Tommy could happily live with another friendly and playful dog or dogs but may also be happy as the only dog and the centre of attention in the family.
As with all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love, and commitment from his adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog.
Experience with rescue dogs is preferred.
Tommy is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him.
He comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
