Felix – 18 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Felix is an 18 month old male medium sized lanky crossbreed. We met Felix back in March when we visited the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He was in a sorry state, skeletal, filthy and terrified. He’d recently been split from his brothers who had badly attacked him. By the time Felix travelled to us a few weeks later he’d gained weight as he’d no longer been fed amongst bullying siblings that didn’t allow him to eat. He was still terrified of the prospect of human touch and spent his first days here studiously avoiding us. Thankfully Felix has an inherent nosy, meddlesome, zany personality and his curiosity in us bustling little humans soon got the better of him. He began watching at a distance but gradually got closer and closer until he was fully embroiled in all the goings on. Felix is now a cheeky, comical and fun-loving boy who is ready to look for his new home. Felix is now a really confident and affectionate dog, even with strangers which is rare for a dog with his po...

Loki – 10 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Loki is a 10 month old male Cross-Breed. Loki is a rescue from Cyprus currently living in Carshalton, London. Following a change in his family’s circumstances, they feel Loki would be better at finding a new home. Here is a little about him: Loki is a playful boy who has discovered he really enjoys the comfort being in a home offers him! His mum was a small Labrador type of around 16 kg and we think Loki will be around 22 kg when fully grown. He was rescued with his mum, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. His siblings are living happily with their families in the UK and we would love for Loki to have the same opportunity. He is housetrained and sleeps through the night. Loki enjoys playing with other dogs and would be really happy to share his new home with another dog. He would also be happy on his own providing his family were there for him to help him settle and enjoy his new life. Loki is still a baby and would be able to share his new home with children used to dogs who don’t mind ...

Toby and Bertie – 9 year old male Jack Russell Terriers

Image
Toby and Bertie are a 9-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier, predominantly black and tan in color. His friendly and confident demeanor makes him a joy to have in the home, as he warmly greets visitors and happily jumps into their laps. Toby thrives in an environment where someone is present for most of the day, seeking companionship and attention. Bertie, Toby’s brother, is also 9 years old and a male Jack Russell Terrier with a tri-color coat. Unlike his more outgoing sibling, Bertie is a bit timid and can be nervous when meeting new people. As such, he would benefit from a quiet, adult-only home where someone is around for most of the day to provide reassurance and support. Ideally, the pair is looking for a loving home where they can stay together, given their strong bond as brothers. However, separate homes will be considered if the right match is found. Both Toby and Bertie require an owner experienced with terriers to provide them with the care and understanding they need. ...

His charming smile has the ability to light up any room, making him a delightful companion. In the Daycare setting, Jonny thrives on interacting with other dogs, showcasing his playful side as captured in the accompanying photos. Despite his previous reactivity during walks in his former home, such behaviour has not manifested in the Daycare environment. It is evident that Jonny responds well to direction, demonstrating his intelligence and eagerness to learn. Given his unique needs, Jonny is seeking an experienced and active owner in an adult-only home. He has the potential to coexist with other dogs, but a household without cats is essential. Jonny, although capable of being left alone for extended periods, is not a fan of long car journeys, emphasizing the importance of findin...

Puffy is a 8 month old male Cross-Breed. Little Puffy is a bundle of love and energy who has not been treated very well by people in his short life so far. He was found as a stray in Romania wandering in the road, this kind person thankfully saved him and took him to rescue. His rescuers believe he must have been purposely left and abandoned by someone as he simply just wants to be by your side, a fluffy little shadow! So seems unlikely he would get lost. Puffy is so happy to see you that he practically does pirouettes of joy and dances about when he can. He is so friendly and would be a wonderful companion in the home. Dixie has been around other dogs of varying shapes and sizes and has shown no issues with them at all. She has not been tested with cats. Dixie is quite a laid-back character and is not overly active, but does have some bursts of energy! She has started to show some interest in playing with certain toys too. Despite not being an Underdog originally, responsible rehoming is a priority, and Loki’s family has made the difficult decision to find him a suitable home. This medium-sized Podenco mix has been nothing but loved during his time with his previous family, but the unpredictable movements of the toddler have caused him stress and unrest. Loki is known for his natural submission and occasional nervousness. He particularly enjoys the attention of trusted adults, nudging for a stroke, and displaying affection, even if you have a cup of tea in your hand. When welcoming new people at the door, Loki barks initially but quickly warms up, bringing them a toy and sitting beside them for affection. Loki’s ideal home ...
