Miles – 4 year old male Cross-Breed

Miles is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed.

Miles is a sweet-natured boy, who is looking for a little chance at happiness after having a rough time in recent years.

He found himself in a Romanian kill shelter where he was due to be euthanised, but was thankfully along with 6 other dogs rescued and taken to a private shelter.

When he first arrived, Miles was very weak and skinny but he has thrived in their care and is now ready to start searching for his new family.
Miles is classed as a medium in size and weighs between 20-23kg.

Miles has such a gentle and friendly nature. He gravitates towards you for fuss and is partial to a chin scratch!

He is also very good with other dogs and has shared his rescue environments with many different shapes and sizes, showing no issues with them at all. He would be happy to join a home with a resident dog, or could equally adapt to being the only dog with all his new family’s attention.

Miles has shown a little bit of guarding around food with other dogs, not people. This is very common and most likely a result of going hungry and having to defend any food found. We would advise just feeding separately to any resident pets for this reason to avoid any potential issues.

As Miles’ background before kennels is unknown, it is to be expected that some things in his new home might be quite new to him and he may need a bit of time just to adjust. He may need a bit of time to get used to walking on a lead and going on regular walks.

Miles has been vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and health checked by a vet. He is currently in Romania but very ready to travel to his new forever family.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared.
