Jenny – 7-8 year old female Whippet Cross

Image
Jenny is a 7-8 year old female Whippet Cross. She is sadly ended up in the pound following the death of her owner. Such a shame for such a beauty to find herself homeless. She was very overwhelmed initially, but now she has settled in she is a very sweet little lady that just loves to snuggle with people and other dogs. Jenny is a real couch potato of a dog, she is very quiet and obedient, she would love a family to snuggle on the sofa with all day with the occasional break for walks and ball chasing, she loves this! Jenny is well behaved – somebody has obviously put a lot of love into her! She is house trained and non-destructive – happy to be left snoozing on the sofa, absolutely adores other dogs so could happily live with a companion but would equally be happy as the only dog, where Jenny is concerned, Sofa is life! The only thing I will say, as with most pointy type dogs, she is a scavenger and if there is food on the side or in the bin, she will have it! SHE IS NOT CAT TEST

Darko – 7 month old male Terrier Cross

Image
Darko is a 7 month old male Terrier Cross. He was left by a fast and busy road. He wandered around and it is a miracle that he survived the highway traffic. We picked him up soon after we heard about him, in March this year. He was around 5 months old back then. Since then he has done all veterinarian procedures, learned to walk on a leash, house trained, wonderful car companion (loves driving in a car). He is all friendly with other dogs and is much calmer than other dogs of his terrier breeed. Darko is microchipped, rabies vaccinated, infectious diseases vaccinated x2, castrated, Mediterranean diseases tested-negative. We are a small Uk charity that rescues abandoned and sometimes mistreated cats and dogs from Croatia. We bring them back to health and try to rehome them.

Ziggy is a 2 year old male Whippet. He found himself on death row in the pound. He is very typical Whippet in both size and character Ziggy weighs just 12kg. Ziggy is fit as a fiddle and what a diva he has now become, Ziggy is quite literally the best dog ever!! So calm and well behaved I just know the perfect home is waiting patiently for a dog just like him!! Ziggy will steal your bed, and your heart, he is strikingly beautiful and gets compliments wherever he goes which of course, he is happy to lap up! Ziggy is dog and cat friendly, as long as he is comfy that’s all he really cares about! Ziggy is a real couch potato of a dog, he is very quiet and as much as he will walk for miles, he takes some convincing to get out of bed or off the sofa, particularly if it’s cold or wet – and who can blame him!!He certainly loves to snuggle with the other dogs! He would love a family to play with him and keep him occupied, he loves a walk and loves to greet everyone he meets! he is house t

Zac – 2 year old male Spaniel Cross

Image
Zac is a 2 year old male Spaniel Cross. He was collected from the streets by the municipal dog wardens in Cyprus and taken the the local shelter. He remained in their care for the required two weeks, in which time we hope the family missing the dog come forward to collect them, but unfortunately as he was never claimed he is now looking for a new forever home. Zac is a darling boy who is thought to be around two years old. He’s a small sized spaniel mix and we think based on his behaviour in the shelter that he has previously had a home. He is extremely people oriented, very sociable, and adores being in the presence of people. Living in a highly stressful environment is hard for Zac, and whenever he sees the volunteers or visitors walking past he will stretch his paws out between the bars of the cage as far as he can to try and get them to stroke him. He craves companionship and it’s a shame to see him so desperate for human touch in the shelter, where everyone’s time has to be sp

Kairo – 11 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Kairo is a 11 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a stunning boy with his bindle coat and his impressive honey colored eyes. He was rescued from a road in Northern Spain, having been left to fend for himself in an area of extremely heavy traffic. Luckily we managed to catch him and take him to safety. Kairo is wonderful with everyone – he’s lovely with people, adores other dogs and he’s good around cats. He can be slightly timid on first meeting, which is normal after all he’s been through, but he’s soon your friend once he realises he can trust you. Kairo has been seen in a home and was very good, picking up the routine quickly and sharing his space with other dogs easily. He has been doing well with his housetraining, but he will need ongoing help with this, as he adjusts to life in his new home and learns the difference between indoor and outdoor areas. He is a very fast learner and picks things up brilliantly, so we have no doubt that with consistency, routine and praise, he wil

Ted and Penny – 10-15 year old female and male Pug and Dachshund cross Jack Russell Terrier

Image
Ted and Penny are 10-15 year old female and male Pug and Dachshund cross Jack Russell Terrier. This dearly devoted duo is Ted, a 10-year-old Pug, and his partner-in-cuteness Penny, a 15-year-old Dachshund x JRT. They are in a foster home in Welling, Kent, waiting for someone to offer them a lovely new home together. As long as they have each other, Ted and Penny are fine to be left for an hour or two when you need to pop out, but they really enjoy human interaction so wouldn’t suit a home with people who go out to work, or work from home in a role that isn’t flexible enough for you to interact with them. They are both good with other dogs but Penny can be nervous if a bigger dog suddenly appears and looms over her. Ted and Penny haven’t lived with cats, and in their one meeting with a cat since coming into foster care, Ted barked at the cat, so we are looking for a cat-free home for them. Ted and Penny are fine with children and they used to have respectful grandchildren visit thei

Enrico – 6 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Enrico is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a brother of Enzo, were both found abandoned and were lucky to have a foster home without having to go into the shelter, and they came on leaps and bounds because of this. Both are now house trained and learning everything about living in a home. Enrico walks nicely on lead and loves to go out for walks (as you can see by the photos). He is a very friendly boy puppy aged 6 months, who is good with other dogs. He is a medium sized lad about the size of a Labrador with a black short soft coat, white chest and 2 paws and a beard! He seems to be ok with dogs when out, but will need to be the only dog in the home. He would like a home with direct access to the garden. No cats please.

Jayjay – 5 month old male Spanish Mastin

Image
Jayjay is a 5 month old male Spanish Mastin. He is gorgeous puppy boy. He is very sweet and friendly, with a fluffy, thick, tan and brown coat in very unusual patterns. Not timid at all. Jayjay is a male Mastin puppy, very much the shape and size of a St Bernard when fully grown. Jayjay was the smallest pup of the litter but is growing fast now. He loves to cuddle and pulls my hair. He is a good eater and loves all dog cookies. Jayjay is the most naughty one. If he sees something he can get hold of he will. But not abnormal just what puppies do. He’s good in the car, never was sick. And with the vet is also fine. They never bark only when they are playing. Jayjay is very curious but they have never seen cars or crowded places yet. He loves to be outside and play with leaves or anything he can find what isn’t his. Very friendly and beautiful boy and I don’t see any problems with children over 8 years. He is good boy with people, children and other dogs, calm and gentle for a pup h
