Rocky – 11 month old male Harrier Hound Cross

Rocky is a 11 month old male Harrier Hound Cross. He is very tall and weighs 19kg. Rocky is a HIGH energy, BUSY dog and he is a challenging adolescent who will need a home able to commit to supporting his overall learning. Rocky is STRONG on the lead, BOISTEROUS and can become pushy with his behaviours as he does not know more appropriate responses or outlets for his frustration.

He will need a home able to provide the high level of appropriate physical and mental activity his breed needs, they are designed to have stamina, follow scents, and use their brains, please research his breed type. If not provided with suitable activity will be destructive and vocal.

He is generally friendly though can be nervous of men, possibly live with confident teens who are able to be involved in training. He can social with dogs however very boisterous, consider living with if carefully matched. Not suitable to live with cats. He is house trained, travels OK though excitable, would be bored if left long periods alone. Needs adequately sized, secure garden.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
