Best Crash-Tested Dog Harnesses For Traveling By Car

Image
When deciding on a crash-tested dog harness, your primary concern is probably your pup’s protection. But comfort, convenience, and durability are all factors that can influence your decision.   Why Are Crash-Tested Dog Harnesses Important? Whether you’re taking a 10-minute trip to the dog park or traveling across the country, keeping your pet safe and secure in your vehicle is a top priority. Crash-tested dog harnesses cannot only help protect your pet from being injured in an accident, they can keep pets from distracting the driver and causing an accident! When deciding on a crash-tested car harness, most owners are thinking about keeping their pet safe in an accident. But a good crash-tested dog harnesses will protect you and the other passengers in your car as well! Fabio – 5 month old male French Bulldog

Image
Any Frenchy lovers out there? Please meet this little beauty Fabio, a 5 month old male French Bulldog and only known life on a chain. Now safe in our shelter in Greece thanks to Anna. I’m desperate to get this baby into a home. French Bulldog isn’t for everyone there is some extra care that he will need to receive. He will need daily facial care with the folds and nose being cleaned daily. Sometimes they need their bum wiping after going to the toilet too as the way their body is, it is impossible for them to clean themselves. Also the tail pocket will need cleaning. If you think you can handle this extra care then please apply. French Bulldogs are a lovely breed but are renowned for being very stubborn. House training can be hit and miss with these little fellas and they fart a lot lol ? ( i have one myself). He deserves a life of a happy home just as much as any dog. He will need puppy training as he has missed out on a lot from being only on a chain. Could live with dogs and ch

Sophie – 5 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Hello everyone, I’m Sophie, a 5 month old female Cross-Breed. I was rescued from a kill shelter with my siblings. We tried finding a home but nobody wanted us. So we now came to a sanctuary in Norfolk. We’re ok, we’re being cared for, but it’s not enough for a puppy to be stuck in kennels. I’m only a baby at 4.5 months old. I want a soft bed, a mummy, a playmate and lots of delicious treats. I want to be loved like all babies. And that’s why I need to find a home. I’m vaccinated and chipped. I’m little now, but will probably grow into a medium girl. ? Please message us the following details if you wish to apply to adopting Sophie. Current pets, ages of children, garden fencing, location, working hours, experience with dogs.

Max – 7-8 year old male German Shepherd Dog

Image
Max is a stunning 7-8 year old male German Shepherd Dog looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He lives with children and is great with them so respectful, dog savvy children would be fine. He apparently can take some time to warm to new people but on his assessment today he was giving me kisses in minutes. He isn’t getting the exercise he needs but despite that he walks pretty well. We are told he is not good around other dogs so he needs to be the only dog and in a home that can manage and help him with this, and be strong enough to hold him if he does pull to get to another dog. He’s a no to cats but he does have two resident hamsters in the house which he’s not overly fussed about (they’re in a cage but when the children have them in their hands he just looks at them). He will bark when people come to the house, almost shepherds do! He’s fine to be left for reasonable periods. He does get travel sick, poor boy. He’s not vaccinated or neutered but we will get this d

Rio – 23 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Image
Rio is a stunning 23 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. He needs a new home due to no fault of his own. He’s a big, lovable lad who has little or no spatial awareness. He’s lived with cats (he wants to play with them as you’d expect but is good with them as long as they are used to dogs), and children from babies upwards (again he’s great with them although will knock them over with excitement at times). He’s never lived with another dog but is dog friendly so potentially can live with another friendly dog. He walks pretty well in his lead unless he wants to go and play. He’s fine to be left for reasonable periods but he does sometimes chew things left around and whilst he settles in he is likely to have some accidents. He loves travelling in the car. He adores new people but will jump up to make a fuss. He’s chipped but not yet neutered and his vaccinations have just been restarted. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in Sout

Storm – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer

Image
Storm is a 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer. She is going to be looking for a new home very soon. She has been passed around multiple times in her short life. We were asked to help her yesterday as her current owner does not have the time or experience to deal with the fact she is uncomfortable around strangers on walks and will sometimes growl at them. She has never nipped or bitten anyone and with an experienced home this can be worked on. Storm is apparently absolutely fine with people coming into the home. She is unsocialised with other dogs and barks when she sees them. We will know more about the home she needs when we have assessed her next week but will be looking for a home with Bull breed experience and no young children. Isn’t she adorable though? Look at those ears!! We were told Storm can be uncomfortable with strangers but in the time she was with us she met 8 people and was great with them all. She’s a dinky little girl- probably Boston Terri

Mate – 10 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Mate, originally called Marina, is a 10 year old female Cross-Breed of large size. We are looking for a lovely retirement home for her as that is exactly what she deserves. She was in a pound in Northern Spain when we took her into our care, after dog catchers found her lying in the street. We had tears in our eyes the first time we saw her. It hurts our heart each time we find out that an oldie enters the pound, as they belong to most vulnerable in the pound, but it was shocking to see the condition Mate was in. She was bloated and not able to support one of her hind legs. After x-rays, blood test and all further checks were done we found out that Mate had a broken leg, that had happened recently and wasn’t treated and therefore healed by itself in the wrong way. That’s the reason for her limp. She probably was hit by a car and left to die on the side of the road, or at least this is what we imagine. We can’t bring ourselves to think that a person is able to do something like that
