Storm – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer
Storm is a 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer. She is going to be looking for a new home very soon. She has been passed around multiple times in her short life.
We were asked to help her yesterday as her current owner does not have the time or experience to deal with the fact she is uncomfortable around strangers on walks and will sometimes growl at them. She has never nipped or bitten anyone and with an experienced home this can be worked on.
Storm is apparently absolutely fine with people coming into the home. She is unsocialised with other dogs and barks when she sees them. We will know more about the home she needs when we have assessed her next week but will be looking for a home with Bull breed experience and no young children. Isn’t she adorable though?
Look at those ears!! We were told Storm can be uncomfortable with strangers but in the time she was with us she met 8 people and was great with them all. She’s a dinky little girl- probably Boston Terrier cross Staffordshire who is three years old and has been passed around a lot in her short life. She’s very sweet and puppy like and doesn’t seem to have seen much of the world so far. She’s looking for a home with experience of dogs and we would consider dog savvy children 8+. She’s not socialised with other dogs and barks when she sees them.
There doesn’t appear to be any aggression – she’s just OTT but best as an only dog initially. No to cats. She pulls on the lead but this is easily worked on and given her size isn’t a real issues anyway.
She is good with people coming to her house, loves her home comforts and is ok to be left for reasonable periods of time. She travels well in the car. She’s chipped and vaccinated but not yet speyed which we will arrange at our vet as part of the adoption. Foster homes need to be within an hour of Rotherham to attend our vets and for meets.
Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.
