Phoebe 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross

Image
Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her. She will sometimes wake during the night to make her home aware she needs the toilet. Phoebe wakes up most mornings at 6 am. Phoebe is happy to be groomed/brushed by the female in the home. Phoebe enjoys going out into the garden to sniff around and explore. She goes out on a slip lead with no issues. Phoebe has yet to go for a proper walk due to her building her confidence in the garden first and getting used to the lead. It is encouraged that she should wear a harness but this has yet to be introduced. Positive reward training and allowing Phoebe to explore the harness initially will need to be carried out. She hasn’t been left unattended in the home since arrival so correct training around leaving her for short periods will be vital to prevent anxiety behaviours. Phoebe listens to commands well and will sit for treat...

Rama – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Rama is a medium sized crossbreed aged around a year old. Rama fostered Norwich Norfolk. Rama was a pup born to a chained mum in Romania. Thankfully she was spared the horrendous fate of chained life when all of the dogs were handed over to a rescuer, Rama and her mother included. Rama is a quiet and sweet little girl who has lived in the shadow of her mum at the shelter. She’s now in a UK foster home and time spent with people is resulting in her absolutely flourishing. She is a quiet little girl, currently a little serious for her age, hopefully in the coming weeks she will learn more about the fun side of life. She mixes well with other dogs and is fine with the safe rescue cat, she could also be the only dog in the home. She could live with respectful children aged six plus. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations m...

Connie – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Meet Connie – From Surviving to Thriving Connie is a 2 year old female Puli Cross. Her story began in a public pound, where she grew up in harsh conditions. A year ago, she was rescued in a heartbreaking state – skin and bone, frightened and frail. With care, love, and patience, Connie has blossomed into a happy, affectionate girl. Today she’s full of life – her waggy tail never stops, she adores treats and cuddles, and she has even learned to smile when she’s with the people she loves. This beautiful girl has learned to trust again! Connie loves the company of other dogs and is especially playful – wrestling and mingling are her favourite games! She would be just as happy snuggling up on the sofa as she is joining in on adventures. Connie is still waiting in a small shelter in Hungary, dreaming of her forever family. She deserves a home where she will be cherished, spoiled, and loved for the sweet, resilient girl she is. For Connie, an experienced rescue dog home would be ideal –...
