Iskra – 2 year old female Kangal Shepherd Cross
Iskra is a 2 year old female Kangal. She is calm, gentle with children, graceful, loving, and never demanding.
She was a puppy – on a chain. No walks, no play, no freedom. In July of last year, we were finally able to rescue her. From her very first day at the shelter, she showed us how beautiful her soul is.
She loves people and other dogs – and everyone loves her. She was perfect – but to many, she was simply “too big.” So she remained at the shelter for months. Iskra is calm, gentle with children, graceful, loving, and never demanding.
She has so much love for people, no matter what has been done to her. Just look how relaxed she is surrounded by unfamiliar children… Two months ago, she got the chance to move into a foster home.
And from that day on, her real life began. Iskra immediately fell in love with the sofa – and with her new housemates, whether human or animal. She lives with five other dogs, including a dominant male and female, and gets along with all of them.
She also lives peacefully with four cats. She likes every dog – big, small, old, or young. She isn’t food-aggressive. She’s clumsy and simply funny.
Iskra is perfect in the city – she walks calmly on the leash, is relaxed and balanced. She doesn’t mind when people approach her – and honestly, everyone wants to pet Iskra. And she gets along with every dog she meets.
Even though she’s still young, she doesn’t need much exercise. She enjoys calm walks and travels perfectly in the car. As you can see, Iskra loves playing with other dogs. She’s very playful, but always respectful and careful. In all her time in foster care, she hasn’t shown a single problem.
She even helped care for an extremely annoying puppy – patiently and lovingly. Iskra has waited a long time to be seen. Now we hope there’s someone out there who truly sees her.
