Bruno – 2 year old male Labrador Retriever Cross

Meet Bruno, a 2 year old male Labrador Retriever Cross-Breed who is large in size and currently based in Cyprus, but available for rehoming in the UK.

Bruno found himself in a shelter after his previous family had to leave the country and were unable to take him with them. Now, he is hoping for a second chance at a loving forever home.

Bruno is approximately 2 years old, with an estimated date of birth of 20/12/2023, and weighs around 30 kilograms. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people at first, but it does not take long for him to relax.

Once he feels comfortable, he becomes affectionate, playful, and enjoys cuddles and attention.

Bruno gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys their company. He loves going for walks, walks well on the lead, and has a playful side, especially when toys are involved.

Bruno has not yet been tested with cats or children, but this can be arranged if required.

Bruno is currently in Cyprus and will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and travel with his own pet passport. Rescue backup will be provided by Saving Souls Animal Rescue.

Phoebe 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross

Image
Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her. She will sometimes wake during the night to make her home aware she needs the toilet. Phoebe wakes up most mornings at 6 am. Phoebe is happy to be groomed/brushed by the female in the home. Phoebe enjoys going out into the garden to sniff around and explore. She goes out on a slip lead with no issues. Phoebe has yet to go for a proper walk due to her building her confidence in the garden first and getting used to the lead. It is encouraged that she should wear a harness but this has yet to be introduced. Positive reward training and allowing Phoebe to explore the harness initially will need to be carried out. She hasn’t been left unattended in the home since arrival so correct training around leaving her for short periods will be vital to prevent anxiety behaviours. Phoebe listens to commands well and will sit for treat...

Rama – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Rama is a medium sized crossbreed aged around a year old. Rama fostered Norwich Norfolk. Rama was a pup born to a chained mum in Romania. Thankfully she was spared the horrendous fate of chained life when all of the dogs were handed over to a rescuer, Rama and her mother included. Rama is a quiet and sweet little girl who has lived in the shadow of her mum at the shelter. She’s now in a UK foster home and time spent with people is resulting in her absolutely flourishing. She is a quiet little girl, currently a little serious for her age, hopefully in the coming weeks she will learn more about the fun side of life. She mixes well with other dogs and is fine with the safe rescue cat, she could also be the only dog in the home. She could live with respectful children aged six plus. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations m...
