Bertie – 7 year old male Maltese cross Shih Tzu

Please meet Barmy Bertie!

Bertie is a gorgeous little Malshi that joined us when his owner struggled to look after him.

Bertie is a wonderful little lad, a bundle of fluff and love just waiting to devote himself to you!

He is absolutely stunning both inside and out and his cheeky little face look straight into your heart!!

He walks beautifully on the lead and is house trained, most of the day he spends snoozing on the sofa however he loves her food and walks! Bertie is a gentle little soul, he is a darling with not a bad bone in his body.

He is not destructive at all and is quite content being left for short periods. Bertie would love to live with other dogs a similar size to him.

I don’t think he enjoys being the only dog in the home however we would consider this if his carer is home alot of the time.

He is a very undemanding and lazy lad; he would suit an older person or couple. He absolutely loves to snuggle! Bertie is fine with other dogs and cats.

He loves to play with toys, especially squeaky ones, he goes mad for these. He also would chase a ball all day long!

This lovely lad would make a fantastic addition to any family as he is really laid back and undemanding, but equally a lovely cuddly loyal company.

Bertie would like an adult only home. When Bertie was younger he was stubborn and didn’t like being told what to do.

He has grown out of this and matured with age and we haven’t seen any bad behaviours from him what so ever however it is for this reason we want to find him an adult only home.

Bertie has a long coat that will need regular grooming, the adopters must be committed to this.

He can be a bit grumpy with his feet and face being groomed, so will need an experienced and understanding groomer who knows how to do this without causing him distress.

Bertie travels well but can get vocal when he is excited.

Bertie is castrated and chipped. he is flea and wormed. Could you give this beautiful lad the home he deserves?

Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her. Rama – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Rama is a medium sized crossbreed aged around a year old. Rama fostered Norwich Norfolk. Rama was a pup born to a chained mum in Romania. Thankfully she was spared the horrendous fate of chained life when all of the dogs were handed over to a rescuer, Rama and her mother included. Rama is a quiet and sweet little girl who has lived in the shadow of her mum at the shelter. She’s now in a UK foster home and time spent with people is resulting in her absolutely flourishing. She is a quiet little girl, currently a little serious for her age, hopefully in the coming weeks she will learn more about the fun side of life.
