This handsome boy is Rio.

Rio – 11 month old male Labrador Retriever Cross Akita. He is a gorgeous young dog looking for his forever home where he can truly be part of the family.

Rio loves people and other dogs and is currently in foster with multiple dogs, which he is really enjoying.

Therefore, we will be searching for a home with another canine companion that he can play with.

Although he is only 11 months old, he is very well-mannered. He is house-trained but, as usual, may have a few accidents at first until he settles into his new home.

Due to his age, he would benefit from an active family.

He can live with dog-savvy children. Due to being playful and enthusiastic, he may accidentally knock over small children, but this is never malicious.

Rio is described as a medium-sized dog and weighs around 23kg.
