Brandon – 3 year old male Pointer Cross

Brandon has to be on the next flight. He’s 3 years old and when he arrived at the shelter last year he was emaciated. He was nothing but skin and bone.

Completely starved and mistreated. We suspect he was a hunters dog – made to go hungry to ‘make him a better hunter’. Brandon is a pointer and ready to find his forever home.

Unfortunately Brandon entered the shelter nearly a year ago. He has been well cared for and did initially put on some weight. But the stress of being caged up all day has got to him and he has lost weight again.

That’s why we need him in a home asap. He’s struggling. Perhaps he once knew a home and had a family. He can be fostered or adopted.

Brandon is friendly and curious of everyone he meets. He’s happy to be getting regular meals, but what he really needs now is a human to give him the life he deserves.

He enjoys any time he gets to spend with people. He’s super cuddly – true to the pointer breed.

He shares a space with both male and female dogs of similar size and can be homed as an only dog or with females and/or submissive male dogs.

After initial excitement to be out of his kennel, Brandon walks well on the lead. He is super (!) food oriented and will be a joy to train.

Overall, Brandon simply adores people and would also be ok with children aged 10+.

Brandon is located in Cyprus and, if adopted in the UK, will travel with a passport and has been tested for infectious diseases. He is fully vaccinated and will be castrated.
