Rita – 1 year old female American Bulldog

Rita is a young, affectionate American Bulldog aged around 1 year 6 months with a fun-loving and eager-to-please nature.

Rita is very people-focused and enjoys spending time with her humans, forming strong bonds and thriving on companionship. She loves being out on walks and being part of daily life.

She mixes well with other dogs and would benefit from living with a calm, older dog who can provide steady companionship.

However, she can become excitable, particularly around high-energy dogs, and may need support in learning how to regulate herself in these situations.

Rita is an intelligent and trainable dog who is eager to learn and responds well to guidance. She enjoys being active and would thrive in a home that can continue her training and provide structure and routine.

She walks on a harness as she can be strong on the lead at times, but she enjoys her walks and is continuing to improve with consistency.

In the home, Rita is crate trained and settles well overnight. She can be left for short periods, however she has shown some separation anxiety which will require ongoing support and gradual training.

She would be best suited to a home where someone is around for much of the time initially.

Rita can become fixated on toys, so play and enrichment should be managed appropriately to help maintain focus and calm behaviour.

Rita would suit an owner with experience of bully breeds or active dogs who can provide a calm, consistent environment and continue to guide her development.

Rita is a loving, fun, and loyal young dog with huge potential who will flourish in the right home with patience, structure, and continued training.

Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her.
