Lady – 18 month old female Cross-Breed

Please meet Lovely Lady!

Lady is a gorgeous little crossbreed that is approximately 18 months old Cross-Breed. Lady was born in rescue kennels when her mum was rescued from the meat markets of China and promptly gave birth to pups.

Dogs are food in China, if you don’t know the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell.

Little Lady is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find her forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life!

We expected Lady to be quite bewildered when she arrived in foster with us, but all she wanted was to have a snuggle with me, its very easy to fall in love with this adorable little lady.

I mean, just look at her! She took everything in her stride and even joined us on a pack walk the day after she arrived, and she loved every minute!

Lady is always so happy to see me, when I come downstairs in the morning she is waiting for me with a little roo and cuddles.

She is a very clever little girl, although we have no idea what her actual breeding is, she looks like a tiny collie but is less than 10 KG, whatever she is, she is absolutely wonderful, and has a real cheeky nature.

She is basically a pup and needs training as she has no idea what its like to be a pet.

Lady is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family. Poor little Ladys world was turned upside down when she arrived with us, but despite that, she just wanted to be loved.

She has settled well into our routine and loves pack life, once she likes you, she follows you everywhere and just loves to be cuddled. She is extremely loving and loyal and bonds very quickly to her people.

She will do anything for food, she literally dances around like a loon when food is around, she also loves to play with toys which is a totally new thing to her.

Lady is neutered, microchipped, de flead and wormed and fully vaccinated. Lady is house trained, walks well on the lead when she trusts you, is not destructive and can be left for short periods.

She loves to be left snoozing on my bed and is often snuggled up with the cat. She is a very social little lady so can happily live with other dogs of a similar size, she is wary of the bigger dogs.

I think she would do best in a home with a resident dog to show her what life as a cherished pet is all about!

Lady is adorable both inside and out, and to think she almost ended up on someone’s plate is just heartbreaking. Lady doesn’t have much experience of children so would be best suited to an adult only home where her humans can dote on her.

Lady is an inquisitive and responsive little lady, quick to learn and easy to train, especially where food is involved! She loves her home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed with you if she is allowed, basically she is a little snuggle bug.

She will sleep downstairs on the sofa or in her own bed if she isn’t allowed in the bedroom.

Lady travels very well in the car, She is just an all round pleasure to have, and has the cheekiest little face and personality!

Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing character, and I am sure she is grateful to be out of China and just want to love her humans.
