Millie – 5 year old female Miniature Schnauzer

Meet Millie, a 5 year old female Miniature Schnauzer who is a sweet and gentle girl with so much love to give. She has known love before, but her previous family travelled often and she spent far too much time in boarding kennels.

They made the kindest decision to let her go, knowing she truly needs a full-time family to call her own.

Millie is now in foster care, where she is showing just how easy and lovely she is to live with. She currently lives with several dogs and is perfectly polite. She mingles if needed but honestly would not mind being an only dog.

Her real passions are home comforts, soft beds and being as close to her humans as possible, preferably on the bed or at least touching you at all times.

Millie is house trained, sleeps through the night, walks beautifully on the lead and is calm and well mannered at home.

Like many Schnauzers, and understandably due to her past, Millie has some separation anxiety. We are looking for a family who can ensure she is not left alone initially and who can gently and slowly help her learn that being left for short periods is okay.

External support from family, friends or dog sitters would be ideal.

Millie would love a secure garden for sniffing and pottering about. She can live with children over 10 years of age, whom she will adore, and she would love a lap, a sofa and a human she can follow everywhere, yes, even to the bathroom.

Millie is spayed, fully vaccinated, blood tested, healthy and will be flying to the UK on 8 March.

If you are looking for a loyal little companion who will adore you endlessly, keep your lap warm and make you smile every day, Millie might just be your girl.
