Pepper – 7 year old female Mioritic Shepherd Dog Cross

Pepper is a 7 year old female Mioritic Shepherd Dog Cross-Breed who is very friendly and affectionate with people and always seeks approval from her humans. She is intelligent, listens to clear instructions, and is quick to learn and eager to please.

Walks very well on lead and very much enjoys her walks out in the countryside. She travels well in the car. She has lived with different dogs and, after steady introductions, has lived well with smaller female dogs in her foster home.

Pepper is reactive to new dogs she meets while out walking, with barking, growling, and some jumping on her front feet until she understands that the dog is not a threat. She needs clear guidance and communication to help her through this behaviour.

Pepper would be very happy to be the only dog in the household but may also share with friendly smaller dogs after slow and steady introductions.

Pepper needs an experienced home where there is time and patience to work with her and help her overcome her concerns around new dogs.

She would make a wonderful companion and has a lot to offer in a home where she can have a balance of calm time, daily exercise, and experienced guidance.

She is happy to be left alone for short periods, for a few hours, especially after exercise when she has time to relax.

She is a beautiful girl, just look at that smile. Pepper would love to have a family to call her own. Are you that family?

She is up to date with all vaccines and is spayed.

Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her.
