Copper – 9 month old male Beagle Cross

Meet Copper, a 9 month old male Beagle Cross who’s as charming as he is cheeky — a real little heartbreaker with a twinkle in his eye.

Copper and his siblings were found abandoned outside a church in Cyprus, a sadly common dumping spot for unwanted puppies. Thankfully, they were in good condition and clearly had been cared for before.

A local rescuer took them in and gave them a safe place to stay, and it didn’t take long for their bright, loving personalities to shine through. Now they’re ready to start their new lives.

Copper is a gentle, happy boy with a lovable personality and a quiet confidence about him. He’s affectionate and people-focused, always keen to be part of whatever’s going on.

He adores cuddles, and once he’s had his fill of affection, he’ll suddenly burst into zoomies around the yard before trotting back for more strokes as if nothing happened.

He’s playful and curious, often watching what his siblings are up to before joining in their antics with a bouncy run and a wagging tail.

He’s relaxed, friendly, and eager to please — but he’s also got a funny, clever side. Copper has mastered sitting up like a meerkat when he wants a treat, which is as adorable as it sounds.

He loves his food, which makes training easy, and he’s already showing great focus and a willingness to learn. With a little guidance, he’ll pick up new skills in no time.

Copper gets on brilliantly with other dogs. He’s sociable and gentle, fitting in easily with his siblings and enjoying both playtime and quiet companionship.

While he’d love to have a canine friend in his new home, he’s also confident enough to live happily as the only dog, provided he has plenty of company and interaction with his people.

Copper is naturally affectionate, so he’ll thrive in a home where he’s included as part of family life.

His adaptable nature means he could live in a variety of settings, including the outskirts of the city, as long as he has regular walks, mental stimulation, and ideally a secure garden where he can sniff, mosey about, and sunbathe to his heart’s content.

There’s no doubt about it — this sweet boy is going to bring a whole lot of love and fun to his lucky family.
