Lyle – 8 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Lyle is now in Taverham Norfolk. Lyle is a medium sized crossbreed aged around eight years old. Lyle has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He was not an easy dog to spot as he’s so quiet and just liked to lie low in his box being as invisible as he could. Lyle is now in a UK foster home and his true personality is beginning to emerge. Lyle is still quiet, prone to laziness and his favourite thing to do is to move from comfy bed to comfy bed. He is starting to enjoy his walks now he’s getting the hang of them, he is still a little stubborn in going where we want to go rather than he wants to but he is getting there! Lyle mixes well with other dogs, but doesn’t really have a strong opinion on whether he has dog company or not so could readily be the only dog in the home. He gets on well with cats and would like an adult home environment. Lyle is responsive to people only once they have gained his trust and treats strangers with an air of noncha...

Dinky – 3 year old male Terrier Cross

Image
Meet the delightful Dinky, a 3 year old male Terrier Cross with a big personality packed into a small frame. We know what you’re thinking—yes, he’s absolutely adorable! But Dinky is much more than just a cute face. This tenacious little terrier is full of personality and has a real knack for stealing hearts wherever he goes. Dinky loves people and greets everyone with enthusiasm, enjoying a fuss before happily trotting off to continue his day. He’s a busy, energetic boy who will thrive in a fairly active home that can meet his needs. After a day filled with walkies, playtime, and the usual terrier mischief, Dinky is happiest snuggled up on the sofa with you—he’s a lap dog through and through. Training & Behaviour Dinky does have a light chasing instinct, which will require ongoing management through enrichment, training, and play. He also travels best in a covered crate in the car—full support and guidance will be given to his adopter. With other dogs, Dinky can be a little s...

Elsa – 7 month old female Shepherd Cross

Image
Elsa is a 7-month-old female Shepherd Cross. She’s a gentle, affectionate pup who’s still discovering the world around her. At the moment, she’s growing up in a shelter in Puglia, in the south of Italy, after being rescued alongside her siblings when they were just two months old. Despite her tough start, Elsa’s sweetness shines through — she’s loving, kind, and just a little shy, which is completely understandable given her surroundings. Even in the shelter, Elsa’s gentle nature is clear. She’s good with both dogs and cats, showing how adaptable and friendly she can be. Her shyness is slowly fading as she receives more attention and affection from the people who care for her. All she needs now is a patient, loving family to help her blossom into the confident, loyal companion she’s meant to be. Elsa is still very young, so she’s full of curiosity and energy, eager to learn about life beyond the shelter walls. She dreams of having space to run, people to love, and a warm bed to sl...

Ally – 7 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Our extra special girl Ally is approximately seven years old and a delightful medium sized mature cross breed. Ally weighs twenty kilos and measures sixteen inches from shoulder to paw. Having been surrendered by her frail elderly owner, Ally has been in our Cyprus shelter for a very few weeks. Ally is a shining star amongst other rescue dogs. She has clearly been preloved, and it shows in every way possible. As well as walking nicely on the lead, Ally is very well mannered in the car. Ally appears to be house trained too. Although she is making friends with the shelter staff and volunteers, Ally is confused and a little distressed at finding herself in a shelter. With a loving and caring demeanour, Ally will respond to her new family and forever home with happiness, affection and loyalty. Such a wonderful opportunity for an experienced dog loving family. Ally seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children. https://www.dogsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/4d53...

Chocolate – 1 year old female Pointer cross Labrador Retriever

Image
Chocolate is a one year old female Pointer Cross Labrador Retriever located in Cyprus. This once-shy and timid girl has completely transformed since entering the shelter — now she’s one of the friendliest little souls around. When we brought her out of her kennel for cuddles and attention, she absolutely loved it. Chocolate is estimated to be between one and one and a half years old and is a pocket-sized Pointer/Labrador type. She’s a gentle girl, and while it might take her a little time to come out of her shell again once she leaves the shelter, we know she’ll blossom into the sweetest companion. She currently lives with a mix of dogs and gets along great with them, generally keeping to herself. She takes treats so gently and is simply happy to be near you. At around 15 kg, she’s a medium-sized girl and will likely have medium to high energy levels given her breed mix. Chocolate just needs a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure.

Cooper – 3 year old male Labrador Retriever

Image
Cooper is a three year old male Labrador Retriever looking for a new home. He’s a very friendly and happy boy who just radiates good vibes. Unfortunately, due to a change in personal circumstances in Cooper’s previous home, he needed to be rehomed. Cooper is a big and bouncy lad who doesn’t always realise his size or strength. Because of this, a home with children aged ten and over would be best suited — though an adult-only home would be perfectly fine too. He’s dog-friendly but can be a bit overwhelming for some dogs, so careful introductions are best. No cats for this guy. Cooper can be left at home for a few hours without issue. He loves his toys and has a soft one he carries around and suckles — total softie energy. Like any classic Labrador, he loves his food and could do with losing a bit of weight, but regular exercise and a controlled diet should help that along. He’s strong on the lead, so he’ll need a confident handler. Overall, Cooper is a lovely, cuddly boy who’ll ma...

Serena – 5 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Image
Serena is a 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier located in Spain Lovely gentle Serena is a five year old small tan SBT girl, weighing 20.2kg, with a tan soft coat and lovely temperament towards humans and other dogs. She arrived at the pound with her sister Venus who has the same colouring but slightly bigger and they are best of friends and kennelled together. Serena is a calm girl who already knows how to walk very well on a lead and even sit! Serena is the quieter of the two. You can see both girls walking together with another dog on the video, and on the other video it shows Serena being hassled by another dogs and she’s not reactive Poor girls had been abandoned together and they get comfort from being kenneled together, but if they get home offers they can be split She just loves her walks and just wants love and fuss so the sooner we can get her into a loving home the better. Trixy – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Trixy is a 1-year-old, smaller medium crossbreed girl with a heart full of love. She was rescued from the streets alongside her mum (a Dachshund cross) and four siblings. Three of the pups, including Trixy, are still waiting for their happy ending in a shelter in Hungary. Trixy is a lively, playful young girl who sometimes shows a little shyness at first. But once she feels safe, her sweet, cuddly side shines through — she only needs love, patience, and kindness to truly thrive. She adores playing with her doggie friends and gets along well with them. She is friendly with people, including children, and enjoys her walks, trotting happily on the lead. Trixy would be happiest in a family where she isn’t left alone for long hours and is treated as a true member of the family — joining in on adventures, cuddles, and daily life. She could easily share her home with another playful, gentle dog, or be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. Like all rescue dogs, she will nee...

Daine – 5 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Meet Diane – An Adorable Little Lad In Need Of His Forever Home. Daine is a small sized five year old male cross-breed. Handsome Daine is a joyful and affectionate boy who’s blossomed beautifully in foster care. With his goofy antics and boundless love, he brings laughter and warmth to every room – he greets his people with excited spins and bounces then settles sweetly for cuddles and attention. Though he’s still learning to trust men, Daine is eager to connect so with patience and a gentle approach like lying down to his level — he’ll come over to investigate and quickly melt into affection once he gets that first scratch. He’s easily won over by neck rubs, treats and toys! Daine gets on with dogs, cats and budgies alike – he can happily be placed with a resident companion although he much prefers the laid back type as can get a little jealous if his canine pals get attention too. Daine is housetrained, can be left and walks well on the lead – he has also been neutered, fully ...

Kane has been in the shelter for over a year now. His best friend, Kahu, was finally adopted last month and now Kane is left behind. They had been together for the past year so now, more than ever, Kane needs to find his happy ever after. Kane is a good, well-rounded boy and can already respond to basic commands. He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes and relishes the opportunity for attention and a way to burn off energy. He is super cuddly and will be a wonderful sofa dog, but will also require decent walks and new adventures. Kane will need ongoing basic training and some patience to help him settle into home life. He is your typical Labrador Retriever – super friendly with everyone he meets, excitable, and food-oriented. This lovely boy will suit most home settings – all he asks for is affection, nice walks, a roof ov...

Image
Remi fostered Hingham, Norfolk. Remi is a two year old black and tan miniature dachshund recently surrendered to Safe Rescue due to a change in family circumstances. Despite never having lived with other dogs previously, Remi has settled well in her multi dog foster home and is also good with other dogs out on walks. She could also live could live as an only dog in the home or with canine company. Remi is an easy dog to take out and about with you and is calm well behaved in all environments. She would be ok to live with children aged five years and older and hasn’t been cat tested. TERMS AND CONDITIONS When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. Image
Guay is a large English Setter, 3 years old. Guay, which means cool in Spanish, is an absolute smashing boy! A man once posted on social media claiming he had saved Norte from certain death and was looking for a family for him. One of the wonderful shelters we work with immediately offered to help, but he never responded. Just a week later, Norte was found abandoned again, this time alone on the street and then taken to the pound. When nobody came forward to collect him, the kind ladies at the shelter stepped in to help. Despite everything, Norte is a happy, affectionate pup. He adores people, children, and even strangers, greeting everyone with his big puppy smile. His favourite thing in the world is being cuddled and showered with affection. Storm – 6 year old female Shepherd

Image
Storm is a 6 year old female Shepherd. She first entered rescue as a very young pup at just 4 months old, showing resilience from the very beginning. She later found her first home when she was 10 months old, but sadly, her owner has since become very unwell, leading Storm to return to rescue and spend time in kennels. Storm’s journey hasn’t been the smoothest, but she has always had rescue support behind her, ensuring she’s never left without care. Recently, she was brought out of kennels and is now looking for her next forever home. She requires an experienced owner of Shepherds who understands her drive and characteristics. Storm has a naturally high prey drive, which means she isn’t suitable to live with cats or other small furry animals. However, she has been living alongside four other dogs in her current setting, which shows she can enjoy the company of her own kind. She would be best suited to a home with a male dog, though careful introductions would always be necessary. ...
