Tank – 2 year old male Eurasier Cross
Meet Tank, a 2 year old male Eurasier Cross, who has been waiting nearly 8 months for his special family.
Tank, another victim of the “unwanted dog” syndrome that strikes so many innocent creatures in Cyprus, was found outside a pound, tied up with a rope around his neck.
Someone had changed their mind about him and discarded him as though he were just rubbish, possibly an unwanted toy who grew too big. Typically for Cyprus, Tank wasn’t microchipped, so his owner couldn’t be traced.
But they have lost a very special boy, a gentle young soul, who now needs your help to find a loving forever home. Tank is a beautiful Eurasier Cross, with the distinctive blue tongue and amazing personality.
He is a calm boy, affectionate and very friendly, good with people and other dogs. His favourite thing is being with people and soaking up all the cuddles and love, though we believe he would prefer to be an only dog while still socialising with others.
He is intelligent and loyal; in fact he is the perfect dog all round! He weighs 19kg and is a real sweetie with a constant grin on his beautiful face — he smiles at everyone.
Tank is playful and loving; he has so much love to give and craves interaction with humans. With his happy personality, he would fit seamlessly into any home.
Tank has waited nearly 8 months for his special family, please don’t let him wait any longer. He has already missed so much of his young life by being behind bars at a time when he should have been a playful puppy, not a discarded toy.
Tank is currently in a small volunteer-run shelter, but desperately needs his own home now. He needs much more than a little bit of love every day from the shelter staff — he needs a proper home where he can give and receive lots of love with his own special family.
Tank is ready to fly to the UK as soon as a family steps forward to welcome him home. He is neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. He would need a secure garden to play safely in, and any children should be over 10.
