Raphael – 4 year old male Griffon

Raphael is a 4-year-old male Griffon who is currently outside the UK. He weighs 13kg and is a gentle, submissive dog. He is good on the lead and is especially friendly with other dogs, both male and female.

In fact, Raphael would thrive best in a home where he has another dog for companionship.

He has met children aged 8 and 15 and has been good with them, making him suitable for a home with older children. Raphael has not been tested with cats, which means his compatibility with them is unknown.

His submissive nature is clear in his behaviour — when he doesn’t understand what you want, he will fall to the ground and roll over, showing you his belly.

Raphael is affectionate, loving, and playful, and he adores following his person around. He is very sensitive to tone, reacting positively when spoken to kindly.

His history suggests he may have experienced aggressive or punishment-based training in the past, so he will benefit from patient, confidence-building guidance. Full rescue backup is provided for his adoption.
