Mecho – 8 year old male Cross-Breed

Mecho is an 8 year old male Cross-Breed of medium size, weighing around 20kg. Fostered in Bulgaria and ready to travel, this beautiful soul has survived a life that would’ve broken many—but not Mecho.

After spending seven heartbreaking years chained by a fence in harsh weather with barely enough food or shelter, Mecho never gave up. His spirit stayed intact through total neglect, and today, for the first time, he knows what it means to feel safe and loved.

Despite all he’s endured, Mecho is calm, gentle, forgiving, and wise beyond words. He’s respectful, sweet-natured, and remarkably well-behaved. He walks beautifully on lead, travels well in the car, enjoys grooming, and is fully housetrained.

He is:

  • Dog-friendly – polite and sociable
  • Cat-friendly – gentle and calm
  • Child-friendly – trustworthy and composed
  • Livestock-safe – non-reactive and respectful

Mecho’s ideal home would be rural or semi-rural with a secure garden. He needs a calm, patient person or family who truly understands rescue dogs. He’d thrive with other animals or solo, as long as he’s given kindness and stability.

  • Brucellosis & 4D tested (negative)
  • Fully vet-checked & healthy
  • Will travel with EU pet passport & DEFRA-approved documents

Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her.
