Thor – 2 year old male Brittany Spaniel cross Springer Spaniel

Thor is a 2-year-old male Brittany cross Springer Spaniel. This handsome boy was rescued from Andalusia, Spain, where he was previously used as a hunting dog.

Thankfully, unlike many in similar situations, he had been treated with a bit more kindness.

His life turned upside down when his owner became terminally ill, and the owner’s wife couldn’t manage both caregiving and looking after Thor and Linda, his canine companion.

Thor is a gentle and affectionate soul who has built strong bonds with the ladies at the shelter.

Though he’s been struggling to adjust to life without his family, he’s made new dog friends and shows particular affection for Linda, his longtime playmate.

While it would be a dream to see them rehomed together, separate applications are welcome if it helps him escape the shelter sooner.

He’s already shown he can live happily with children and other dogs, but any new home must have a friendly resident dog to help build his confidence.

Thor’s sweet nature and love of companionship make him a beautiful addition to the right family. Transport to the UK is available, so this Spanish sweetheart could be warming your sofa sooner than you think.
