Iru – 5 year old female English Setter

Iru is a 5-year-old female English Setter. Iru’s life took a sad turn when her hunter discarded her, but she’s kept her spark and loving nature.

She’s described as incredibly affectionate, practically bursting with joy when she sees the shelter staff.

Her favourite activities include cuddles and belly rubs, and she’ll flop onto her back without hesitation for a good tummy scratch.

She’s gentle, submissive, and gets along perfectly with dogs of all genders.

Iru’s adaptability is impressive — she’d be content either as the only dog or in a multi-dog household, as long as she’s got her humans around most of the time.

Her sweet, patient temperament also makes her fantastic with children. Iru is medium-sized, weighing about 16kg, and she can also live with cats.

Currently in Spain, she’s all set to travel to the UK to find her forever family.
