Freddie – 7 year old male Cross-Breed

Freddie is a 7-year-old male Cross-Breed. He’s currently living in a loving foster home in Norfolk, where he’s surrounded by caring humans, dog friends, and even a cat who apparently thinks it’s one of the pack.

Freddie’s had quite the journey—originally from Romania, he spent over five years in a home before sadly being returned due to his sensitivity to loud noises and the arrival of a new baby.

Though he’s a larger dog in size, Freddie is all heart and very sensitive at his core. He’s not a fan of loud or sudden noises, and busy, bustling environments make him anxious.

For this reason, he needs a calm, quiet home—somewhere peaceful and predictable, ideally in a rural or low-traffic area.

Freddie is not suited to a city lifestyle or a home with children, but he would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with understanding people who get that he’s a bit of a gentle soul.

He does well with dog-savvy cats and currently lives with other dogs. He adores playing with his best friend, a smaller collie mix, but he can be wary of unfamiliar or larger dogs when out and about.

With the right setup and a patient adopter who’s willing to give him the time he needs, Freddie will reward them with deep loyalty, quiet companionship, and a big heart full of love.
