Carol – 1 year old female Labrador Retriever cross Maremma Sheepdog

Carol is a 1-year-old female Labrador Retriever cross Maremma Sheepdog. Weighing in at 35kg, she’s a solid, beautiful girl with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared.

Her early life wasn’t easy—she and her little sister were found abandoned and starving in the Italian countryside. But despite that rough start, Carol’s spirit hasn’t been broken.

She’s a little shy at first, but once you’ve earned her trust (which just takes a bit of calm and patience), Carol opens up into a sweet, sociable, and playful companion.

She gets along well with other dogs and even cats—an all-around friendly girl. She’s good with adults, and with children she just needs a gentle approach and a peaceful environment to build confidence and feel secure.

Right now, Carol lives in a fenced area with lots of other dogs, but she dreams of so much more. She wants the freedom to run, the safety of a home, and the warmth of a family who sees past her quiet start and embraces all the love she has to offer.

She’s ready to give her whole heart to someone who’ll take a chance on her.
