Ophelia – 2 year old female French Bulldog
Ophelia is a gorgeous fluffy cream 2 year old female French Bulldog. Poor Ophelia came to us after she was left unclaimed in the pound, an increasingly common thing for this breed sadly.
She was suffering from Cherry eye which has now been corrected but may be the reason nobody came to claim her.
Ophelia is a typical Frenchie in many ways in that she is small and mighty and full of character and mischief, but most of all snuggles, she is an absolute snuggle bug!!
Ophelia is a lively happy little lady that would love a family to play with her and keep her occupied, she loves a walk and loves to greet everyone she meets!
She does get excited and will mouth, so children aged 13 plus only.
Ophelia doesn’t appear to have had much in the way of manners or training, when she is indoors she is a quiet sweet girl that gets easily over excited by things, when she is outside she has a high prey drive and will chase anything, including other dogs, she loves food and a ball so that’s a brilliant way to control her enthusiasm.
She has great recall in a secure field.
She absolutely adores other dogs on her terms, but like a lot of Frenchie’s, has a low tolerance of dogs in her face and will tell them off, for this reason she would be best suited as the only dog in the home, or with an older calm male dog that won’t harass her.
Ophelia is fine to be left for short periods and is non-destructive. She travels well in the car but is usually sick as soon as we get to the farm, she gets overexcited and worked up!
Ophelia is a gorgeous happy little lady that so desperately needs a forever home and family to grow up with. She is the sweetest little cuddle bug ever – she can’t get close enough to you!
Ophelia walks well on the lead and is great off lead, she loves to chase other dogs and play ball with you, but her favourite thing is to snuggle.
Ophelia will make a fantastic little sidekick for someone who is prepared to train her and put boundaries in place. Ophelia is neutered, microchipped, de-flead, and wormed. She also had corrective eye surgery when she was neutered and a dental.
