Tucker – 5 year old male Golden Retriever

Please meet Trusty Tucker! Tucker is a 5 year old male Golden Retriever and is absolutely adorable.

Tucker was saved from the Chinese meat market by Harbin rescue. Yes, dogs are food in China. If you don’t know, the meat markets are absolutely evil and the treatment the dogs get and the things they have seen is nothing short of hell.

Tucker is one of the lucky ones and has come to us in the UK to find her forever home. If you are not aware, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life!

Tucker is testament to everything dog. Despite where he has come from he shows nothing but love and loves to give you a bear hug when you come into the room. He is a wonderful lad and it breaks my heart when I think of what could have happened to him if Harbin hadn’t rescued him from the meat truck that day.

Tucker is a wonderful dog, and I absolutely adore him! He is just a happy guy always smiling and always ready to please you, a very laid back boy that just wants to please.

Tucker will make a very rewarding addition to his new family. He is absolutely adorable, I mean, just look at him, gorgeous inside and out! Tucker loves a run around the fields and likes to carry something in his mouth, typical golden!

He will also happily have a steady lead walk. He is an amazing companion dog and will be a best friend to anyone who is lucky enough to adopt him, he gives the best cuddles!

Tucker is house trained, walks well on the lead, is not destructive and can be left for short periods. He is a perfect family pet. Tucker could live with children age 8 years plus. He hasn’t got a bad bone in him, bless his big heart.

He would love a friend to play and snuggle with him, and being a lab, sneak him food! Tucker is currently on a diet as his time in rescue kennels in China allowed him to get quite plump!

Tucker is a very social lad so could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company! He will do anything for food and a comfy bed or sofa! He is absolutely fine with cats and will happily curl up on the bed with our cat!

Tucker loves his home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed! Tucker travels very well in the car. Whoever adopts this little lad will be very lucky indeed as he really has the most amazing well-adjusted nature and such a beautiful face.

Tucker is neutered, microchipped, de-flea and wormed, and vaccinated.
