Harley – 11 month old female Litsi Hound cross Pointer

Harley – 11 month old female Litsi Hound/Pointer Cross

Harley is in a foster home in the UK and is looking for her forever home with an experienced family. She is an absolute sweetheart who really wants to please but is not quite sure how to do it. Harley has never been in a forever home, having been abandoned as a puppy, and therefore has not read the manual!

She has, however, come on in leaps and bounds since coming to the UK and is house-trained and learning house rules. She loves cuddles and snuggles on the sofa and is very cat-friendly.

Harley is a typical hunting dog who loves to run and chase a ball. She is extremely bright and loves learning new tricks. She is very inquisitive.

Harley loves the company of other dogs and plays really well with them all.

Harley is reactive on a lead and is very strong. She becomes frustrated that she cannot freely interact with other dogs and will bark, but this is non-aggressive and can easily be rectified with some consistent positive reinforcement training. Harley is very responsive to touch and treats, which really helps with this.

Harley has the potential to be the most amazing dog with the right family who can understand her needs and have the time, patience, and commitment to help her. She would benefit from the presence of another dog, and we would recommend that any children be aged 10 years or over.

Harley is what rescuing a dog is all about – are you that special dog rescuer who can love and nurture this beautiful girl to be the best dog she can be? The journey together would be fun-filled and one of enormous pleasure and reward, and Harley will love you unconditionally.
