Eric – 6 year old male Cross-Breed

Eric – A Shy Gentleman in Need of Love. He is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven. Available for a foster-to-adopt.

Eric is a sweet, gentle boy who, though modest with new people, has a heart full of love waiting to be shared. At 6 years old, he’s a small boy, who is ready to come on Happy Doggy Bus to the UK on 28 February, but he needs a place where to go – a warm home or a committed foster.

Highlights:

SIZE: Small (37 cm/8-9 kg)
SPAYED/NEUTERED: Yes
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Shy, gentle, calm, playful
DOGS: Good with other friendly dogs
CATS: Good with cats
CHILDREN: Prefers older, calm children

Rescue Story:
Eric, like his siblings (COOKIE and LALA), was rescued as a puppy by a compassionate lady who dedicated herself to caring for dogs in need. Despite her best efforts to find them homes, the world often turned a blind eye, and Eric and his siblings remained in her care.

As the lady grew terminally ill, she turned to rescues to ensure her dogs would have a future. Tragically, she has passed away, but her last wish was for these dogs to find the love and security they deserve.

Detailed Information:
Eric is a gentle, modest boy. He isn’t fearful, but he takes his time to get to know new people. He doesn’t rush into cuddles, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly affectionate.

He loves to run off-lead, play with toys, and enjoy the company of other dogs. He is very well-behaved and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help him settle and feel confident.

Ideal Family:
Eric would thrive in a calm home with another dog and understanding humans who will allow him to take his time getting to know them. He’d suit a family with older children who are gentle and can respect his need for space during his transition.

Eric is such a loving soul who just needs the right environment to shine. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys walks, playtime, and the comfort, Eric could be the one for you.

Health Information:
Eric is healthy. Neutered. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
