Darcy – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Darcy is a 1 year old male medium-sized Cross-Breed. Also known as Mr Darcy because he’s so handsome, he is a friendly and playful boy looking for his forever home. Darcy was rescued from a village pound on December 28th. Constantina saw that he was just a young boy, already looking so sad with wounds on his nose, and decided to rescue him there and then. The transformation in this gorgeous boy once he was in the safety of the sanctuary, with a few good meals in him, was incredible. He now looks and behaves like the puppy that he is. Darcy is the loveliest boy with a really sweet personality. He is friendly and playful and gets on with other dogs. He’s quite happy to entertain himself, throwing a toy around for himself if there’s no one around to throw it for him. He’s also very happy to have a cuddle and is super friendly with everyone he meets. This young dog is a happy, sweet, well-balanced boy. He’s going to make a wonderful addition to any family. SPDC adoption package and h...

Diego – 10 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Diego is a 10 month old male medium-sized Cross-Breed. He is a beautiful boy looking for his forever home. He was rescued from a kill shelter with his sister at a few weeks of age and currently lives in West Yorkshire, where he is visitable. Diego has a real kind and soft nature, he is very affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is always ready for cuddles or a tummy rub. He is very chilled and easy-going and gets on brilliantly with other dogs. He is very peaceful and sociable in general and good around dog-savvy children too. He is great with other dogs on walks and currently lives with a medium-sized female dog who he has bonded nicely with. They love to play together. He is fully house-trained, walks well on the lead, and has excellent recall off-lead too. Diego would be happiest in a home where he is not left alone for extended periods and there is time for his training. He loves his walks followed by a nice snooze at home with his loved ones. We want him to be treated as a me...

Poppy – 7 year old female Cross-Breed

Sadly, only six of the puppies survived and have since been adopted, but Poppy has remained in the shelter for two and a half years, patiently waiting for her forever home. She is a shy but loving girl whose entire demeanour brightens when she receives human attention. With gentle care, she blossoms into an affectionate and grateful companion. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. Poppy walks well on the lead, though she will need time to adjust and may benefit from some further training. At around 35 kg and 50 cm tall, she is a medium-sized dog with a gentle presence. She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated, ensuring she is ready for a fresh start in a loving home. After waiting so long, Poppy deserves a family that will cherish her. Kedves and her 12 siblings were rescued from horrible circumstances; they were emaciated and kept in very poor condition. One of the pups did not survive, but 12 did (the Dirty Dozen). Only 2 girls are available now for adoption. Kedves is a real sweetheart, she is very friendly and affectionate around people, including kids. She gets on well with the other dogs in the shelter and is very patient around children. She also has the potential to live with cats. Toby – 12 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Toby is a small, handsome 12-month-old male Cross-Breed with a smooth black, white, and brown coat. He has a Jack Russell Terrier-like appearance and weighs just 7kg, making him a compact and adorable companion. He has been neutered, started his vaccinations, and completed his blood tests, meaning he is ready to travel to the right family. Toby was found abandoned or lost, and despite extensive efforts to locate his owner, no one came forward. Fortunately, he was taken into temporary foster care, where he has been safe and well looked after. However, he now needs a permanent home where he can receive love and stability. He is a very affectionate little dog, although he can be a bit shy at first. Once he gains confidence, he enjoys human company and is clean in the house. Toby is good with other dogs and is open to training, making him an adaptable companion. While he does not necessarily require another dog in the home, he may benefit from having a canine friend for company. Toby...

Milo – 4 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Milo is a 4-year-old male Cross-Breed who is looking for a new home once again. Originally rescued from the streets of Cyprus, Milo was adopted as a puppy but struggled to adjust when a new baby arrived in the household. He was then rehomed to an owner who understood his needs, but due to a change in living circumstances, he is now in an environment that no longer suits him. His current situation is causing him stress, and a new, stable home is urgently needed. Milo thrives in a calm, predictable home with minimal disruptions. He is seeking a small family unit with previous dog ownership experience, preferably in a rural or suburban setting, away from the busyness of city life. He is not suitable for a home with children or cats, but he may be able to live with another dog, depending on compatibility. His anxiety can be heightened by an unpredictable environment, so stability is key to helping him settle. At home, Milo is a relaxed and fairly lazy dog, but he is always ready for an...
