Phoebe – 2 year old female English Pointer

Phoebe is a 2 year English Pointer girl old currently in Cyprus. She was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter in September 2024.

She was in quite a bad way – all skin and bone. She has been cared for at the shelter and has gained weight and is a firm favourite with the shelter team and the volunteers.

Phoebe has a wonderful calm and gentle nature and a lovely friendly personality, she especially enjoys being around people and is very affectionate and loves being around children.

In seeking her forever home Phoebe’s calm nature means that she gets along well with other dogs both male and female and could live alone or with a resident dog.

She is very eager to please and behaves impeccably during her visits to the vets.

She takes treats nice and gently and we are sure she will be a pleasure to train. Phoebe’s adopters will understand that as for any rescue dog, lots of love, time, patience and reassurance will be the key to help her settle into a home environment.

We have no doubt that Phoebe will make the perfect companion and friend and that she will give her humans unconditional love in return for a safe, loving home.

Phoebe can travel to the UK as soon as a home is offered.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one.
