Lacie – 12 week old female Weimaraner cross Greyhound
Meet Little Lacie – a 12-week-old female Weimaraner-Greyhound Cross.
Lacie is a stunning young lady with a heart full of potential. At just 12 weeks old, she’s already faced an uncertain start in life, but now she’s safe, loved, and searching for her forever home.
Being a puppy, Lacie is a blank canvas, ready to learn and grow into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be. She’s currently thriving in a loving foster home, where she’s discovering the joys of family life and meeting new people.
Lacie is proving to be an incredibly clever girl, quickly picking up on training such as learning to sit and understanding that her crate is a safe and cosy space for sleeping.
Like all puppies, Lacie will need ongoing training to help her grow into a confident and well-rounded adult dog. Training classes are highly recommended to ensure she reaches her full potential.
Weimaraners are known for being active and energetic, and even as a mix, Lacie will require plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and entertained. She’ll need an active home that can meet her needs and provide her with the adventures she’ll love.
Because of her young age and the need to complete her vaccinations, Lacie hasn’t had much interaction with other animals yet. However, with the proper introductions, she could happily live with another dog. Homes with cats will also be considered for adopters willing to invest time and care into a gradual introduction process.
As a puppy, Lacie will come with all the usual challenges – she will pee, poo, and chew! While she’s a gorgeous girl, it’s important to remember that she’ll require patience, dedication to house training, and time to build up her confidence and ability to be left alone.
If you’re looking for an active, intelligent, and loving companion to grow with, Lacie could be the perfect fit for your family.
Lacie is currently located in Basingstoke with her foster family.
