Pepe – 6 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Pepe is a 6-year-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a striking light honey brindle and white coat that is soft and short. Standing at 23 inches tall and weighing 24 kg, he is a handsome and gentle chap currently in Spain.
Unfortunately, Staffordshire Bull Terriers face challenges in Spain due to local regulations requiring a license and a muzzle for this breed. Pepe was abandoned at just three years old and has spent months in a pound, waiting for the chance to find a loving home.
Pepe shares his kennel with two younger dogs, getting along well with them and enjoying their company. He is very friendly and outgoing, with a gentle disposition that makes him a wonderful companion.
While he hasn’t had much exposure to cats, this can be tested if necessary. Pepe would do well in a home with or without another dog and is suitable for a household with children aged 12 or older.
Pepe’s current situation is dire, as the pound he is in plans to transfer all its Lorca dogs to a facility known for euthanising bull breeds upon arrival.
This means he urgently needs to find a home before January to avoid such a fate. Fortunately, Pepe’s adoption cost has been significantly reduced thanks to a sponsorship, increasing his chances of finding the perfect home that can provide the love and care he deserves.
Despite his circumstances, Pepe remains a loving and optimistic dog, ready to rediscover the joys of having a family. His gentle and friendly nature makes him a fantastic addition to the right home.
