Jessie – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Jessie is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She came into the rescue from the street in a very poor state, she was skin and bone and hardly pulled through. She was nurtured back to health though, but sadly nobody really wanted to adopt her so far and she’s been living in the shelter since December 2022, totally undeserved. Jessie is a placid little dog, she is quite chilled and lives peacefully with all dogs in the shelter. Her best friend is Daisy, they hardly leave each other’s side and keep licking and kissing. She has a kind nature, is friendly with people and loves children too. She is adaptable, loves her food a lot and can be motivated nicely with treats. She also cooperates nicely with humans and comes back nicely when called. She could flourish and show a lot more of her true loving personality in a home where she gets the attention she so deserves. Jessie would be best suited for a home where she is not left alone for long periods and there is time for her training. She wi...

Ela – 3 year old female Maltese Cross

Image
Ela is a lively and playful dog who came from the UK with her kennel mate, Zuzi. Ela is a three year old female Maltese Cross, and both girls are now in foster care, where their distinct personalities are shining through. Ela is curious and full of energy, always ready to explore. She can be opportunistic around food, so clear boundaries are needed during mealtimes. While she enjoys cuddles, she prefers them on her own terms. Ela is very playful and will happily initiate play with other dogs, even those larger than her. Ela thrives on activity and mental stimulation due to her independent nature and energetic personality. Ela and Zuzi are very dog-oriented and will need to live with at least one other dog. While preference will be given to adopters who can take both girls, they can also be adopted separately into homes with other dogs. Ela loves playing, often engaging in spirited wrestling matches with her canine friends. In their foster home, Ela and Zuzi are house-trained, sle...

Hazel – 3-4 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Meet our lovely squidgy chocolate pudding Hazel , a cross breed puppy girl approximately 3-4 months old. She will be medium sized when fully grown. Hazel is currently in a shelter in Cyprus – not a good environment for a puppy who needs the love and security of a home. Hazel melts in your arms and she lavishes kisses on all who cuddle her, she is such a happy puppy and loves to be held. Hazel is calm around other dogs, if too many are running and jumping around, she quietly sits and watches. She doesn’t lack confidence, but she is happier to play on a one to one with another puppy. In seeking her forever home, Hazel will suit almost any home situation. Having never lived in a home, her new family will understand that she will need time and patience and lots of love and reassurance to settle and to learn the skills she will need to grow and mature into the best dog she can be. She is such a bright little thing and so eager to please that her journey from puppyhood and beyond will ...

Donn – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Donn is a small crossbreed boy aged around a year old. Donn is fostered in Taverham Norfolk. Donn was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania along with nine other dogs. He is a cute little chap who is unsurprisingly a little wary of people currently. The public shelter experience must have been completely terrifying for him, when I met him in the private shelter, where he was safer, he was still completely terrified. We got him here as soon as we possibly could but there’s a little work to be done to instil some faith in humans in him. He really wants to be friends and to be loved but he has been so badly let down and he takes a little convincing that he can trust anyone. Donn will need another confidant dog in his forever home. He could live with respect children aged twelve plus. He is learning to walk on a lead whilst in our care but will need further confidence building and practice in his forever home. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will kee...
