Please meet Rewarding Radley! Radley is an 18 month old male Chihuahua Cross. He is small and mighty, full of fun and mischief! He has a lovely character that will melt you and keep you on your toes in equal measures! Radley found himself looking for a new home when he was left unclaimed in the pound. It’s so sad for such a little baby to end up dumped; he was petrified! Initially, Radley was very growly and scared, but now he is the sweetest, most loving little lad and is like velcro to you. He just loves to cuddle up with you and follow you around. His confidence has come on so much since he arrived here, and he loves the other dogs and cats—but nothing beats snuggles! Radley is a lively, happy little guy who would love a family to play with him and keep him occupied. He loves a walk and loves to greet everyone he meets; inside, however, he is like Velcro, following you everywhere and can’t wait to snuggle with you. Lara is a small to medium-sized female crossbreed aged around two years old. Lara fostered Norwich, Norfolk. We initially met Lara on a trip to the Botosani public shelter in March 2023. She had a skin condition caused by a poor diet and looked terrible. She arrived here a few weeks later and looked even worse. She was terrified of us for quite some time but gradually her skin condition healed and she grew more confident around us. Sadly the damage left by the skin condition has left her scarred but it causes her no discomfort and requires no further treatment. Of course, it is noticeable and people do ask about her appearance but this just provides an opportunity to educate people on the poor conditions that she originated from. Lara is still quite hand-shy with humans but she is continually progressing in this area and this process can be speeded up in a more one-to-one environment. Mint is a five year old male English Setter. Mint is a very striking boy with unique colouring. He is a very active dog with lots of energy and lots of fun! He shares his kennel with five other Setters and they all get on great together. He is one of the biggest characters amongst them. Mint is very affectionate with people and in the shelter, he comes when he’s called but of course that may be different on an exciting walk! Mint is in the shelter we work with in North Spain. He was abandoned by his hunter as he wasn’t suitable for hunting. Mint was born 10th June 2019. Meet Argos, a 2 year old male Cross-Breed affectionately known as Gus, currently in a foster home in the UK. Gus is a total goofball, a happy and lively boy who thrives on companionship and cuddles. Gus is a lap dog extraordinaire – he loves nothing more than snuggling up with his favourite human. He is incredibly affectionate and will shower you with kisses to show his love. Gus was found with another hound cross dog wandering around a village and taken to a municipal pound. Both dogs were just skin and bone and so we placed them in private kennels. Gus has lost some muscle in his back legs, but it does not stop him doing anything and he is making great progress with his training. In seeking his forever home Gus would fit into any setting. This gentle soul gets along famously with other dogs, making him a great companion for outings to the park or play dates with furry friends although we are not sure if he could live with cats. My name is Aida, an 11 month old female Cross-Breed. I have travelled over from the meat trade in China to find my forever home. I was rescued with my mum and sister at 2 months old. I am a very scared girl and will need an adopter who knows all about my breed and has experience with rescue dogs. I will need a home with calm dogs who can teach me trust and how to love humans. I can walk on a lead but have never lived in a home. I love all dogs but have not been cat tested, and because I’m quite nervous, I’m best not to be around children. What a handsome boy he is! This is Nash and he is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed and is small in size, standing at twenty-nine centimetres. Nash is a very relaxed and chilled-out dog; he is calm in nature and very friendly. He loves to rest his head on your hand while he soaks up any attention that’s on offer; if you’re offering a cuddle, this little man will be straight over! Nash gets along well with people of all ages including children, he showed his calm personality around them and had positive interactions. Nash is a great little dog who’s ready to become part of a family. He gets along well with other dogs and has made multiple doggy pals. Nash can happily be homed with or without a resident dog! His mother weighs only five kilograms and Kit is expected to be around the same. He is a typical very happy, loving and fun little boy, Kit is always on the go and enjoys bouncing around with his pals. Kit is an extremely handsome little man who has a beautiful coloured coat, how couldn’t you not fall in love with him! His affectionate, patient and sweet nature extends to children, Kit is a fantastic all round puppy who has so much love to give his special humans. CONAN is a 3.5 year old male Staffordshire Terrier cross weighing approximately 35 kg and currently in foster care in the UK. Conan’s history is unknown but he found himself in a shelter after being abandoned on the streets of Cyprus. He has been flown to the UK in the hope of finding a forever home. Conan is a confident, happy, playful boy who adores affection and true to his breed is very, very loving in return and is very motivated by human interaction. Idris is a male crossbreed puppy born in January of 2024. A mixture of breeds and with those big ears he may have a bit of donkey in him!! He is in foster near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. Sadly the little girl was lost to Parvo but Idris was spared and did not contract the disease. From his foster mum Within 24 hours we all had fallen for Idris. Yeti is a 4 year old, fawn, neutered female Pug. Yeti came in to the rescue as her owner was unable to afford to care for her properly. When she arrived, she was covered in fleas, under weight and had a UTI that had been left untreated for a long time. Yeti now has a full bill of health and is ready for a new home! Yeti is a fun little girl! We feel she would be better suited to a home with children over the age of 8, this is only because she gets so excited when she get attention that she may inadvertently head butt a small child and she will match the child’s energy. Yeti is great with other dogs out and about, in the home she can be a little dominant. If she goes to a home with another dog, the dog would need to be a laid back character. Simba is in need of a forever home. He is a 4 year old male JagdTerrier Cross. He is currently in foster and has been there for 6 months now where his foster has been carefully working with him and assessing him and his needs. We now feel that we have enough information to find the home that he needs as we do not want to have to keep moving him around. Unfortunately, his needs mean that he cannot stay with his foster, even though they care for him very much, the mutual agreement is that Simba has specific needs and is not able to continue living in a busy, built up area. TESSIE is a gentle small-size puppy girl just over 6 months old. With her short legs, she’s likely a Dachshund cross. TESSIE is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven. She will be arriving in the UK shortly and is available for a foster-to-adopt. Rescue Story: TESSIE, along with her sisters ELLY and BETSY, were evacuated by courageous volunteers from the combat zones in February. Their mum, unfortunately, passed away after being heavily wounded by shrapnel. TESSIE and her sisters arrived infected with parvovirus, the most dangerous puppy disease. At just a few weeks old, volunteers fought for their lives for two weeks. Fortunately, they fully recovered and now have lifelong immunity against the disease. Takis is a cross breed boy who is medium in size and is 6 years old. His story is very sad. He was found as a stray with his siblings and mum and dad. They were all petrified of people and would spend all day in their kennel hidden in their box. When they were first brought to the kennels we thought that there was no hope for them. With hard work by the amazing owners of the kennels most of the siblings and parents were adopted but Takis and his sister were left behind as they were not improving like the others and things seemed hopeless. One day while a visitor was at the kennels Takis was taken out and he just went to the visitor and let her touch him and started licking her. It was a real breakthrough as he had never approached anyone. Takis was very protective of his sister as when he was with her he demonstrated aggression towards other dogs clearly to protect her and so we decided to separate them and as soon as they were separated Takis became a different dog and shared his s

Meet RADA is a small funny-bunny girl of around 10 months old. She’s a Chihuahua cross and, despite looking larger in pictures, she is very small. RADA is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven. She will be arriving in the UK in 2 weeks and is available for a foster-to-adopt Rescue Story: RADA and her sister were found near a military base in the East of Ukraine, close to a combat area. These tiny puppies were alone and without their mum, facing the dangers of the world at such a young age. Despite their rough start, RADA has kept her gentle and sweet nature. Now, she’s looking for a loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. Detailed Information: RADA has a soft and tender nature. She can be a bit shy at the beginning, needing a little time to build trust. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes an affectionate and loving lap dog. She is friendly with other calm and friendly dogs, but can be uncomfortable around pushy ones. RADA is also good with cats.

Ollie is a 3.5 year- old Kokoni cross boy. He is small, weighing around 8 kg and had been roaming the streets for a while before we were alerted and picked him up and took him to the shelter. His long coat was really dirty and matted and he was covered in ticks and fleas. A visit to the vets declared him healthy and the professional groomer made him handsome again. Ollie has beautiful symmetrical markings, his face is black, white and tan, whilst his body is monochrome in black and white. Ollie is confident around other dogs and even large dogs do not intimidate him. He has been known to chase cats. We are certain that Ollie has lived in a home as he is clean in his pen, and usually waits until he is let out before doing his business. He happily wears a collar, walks well on a lead, likes people and enjoys strokes and cuddles.
