Gesztenye – 7 month old female Cross-Breed

Gesztenye (Chestnut) is an 7 month old female cross breed puppy, expected to be medium size when fully grown (current weight: 14 kg, shoulder height: 44 cm).

She was saved from a kill shelter with her sibling (Zserbo) in November 2023. She currently lives in a shelter with her sister and several other dogs.

Gesztenye is a lovely, kind natured girl, she is affectionate and cuddly, loves people. She can be timid on the first introductions but opens up quickly and becomes a sweet loving little dog.

She is sociable with dogs and loves running around with the other pups. She is playful and kind, cuddly and friendly, and she has a lovely nature.

Gesztenye would be best suited for a family where she is not left alone for long periods and there is time for her training which will include toilet training, walking on the lead, etc. She should be treated as a member of the family and be included in their activities.

Children over 10 will be considered.

Gesztenye could happily live with another friendly dog or dogs, or be the centre of attention as the only dog in the household. She has the potential to live with cats too.

As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog.

Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first time owners please.

Gesztenye is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her.

She comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

The right owner will need to agree to have her spayed once fully grown.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
