Wilson – 1 year old male Pointer Cross

Image
This is Wilson, a male pointer cross who is 18 months to 2 years old. Wilson came into our care after being found straying and has been with us for a few months in kennels. He is a bouncy young boy who is always happy and waggy to greet us when we visit. Wilson loves fuss and cuddles. He loves company and we feel he will be an excellent companion for an active owner or family. As he is still young and bouncy, we feel he will do better if any children are teenagers and upwards. He has been neutered and is a clean boy in his kennel. He needs to learn some manners, but he is very food-orientated, so should be easy to train. Due to his bounciness, we think he may be best as an only dog, but could possibly live with a tolerant dog given careful introductions. Wilson is a lovely, friendly boy who has a lot of love to give. Homecheck and adoption fees apply.

This adorable boy is seeking an experienced owner who can provide him with the care and attention he deserves. Annie – 1 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Annie is a 1-month-old female cross-breed. Found by one of our volunteers alongside her brother Amos. Once at the clinic, she was checked over and placed with little Amos, who was found roughly in the same location. We strongly believe that Annie and Amos are siblings, and their mother, who still roams the wasteland behind the apartment blocks, may be bringing her pups to safety one by one. We eagerly await tomorrow to see if their mother has any more puppies, and if so, we will reunite them all. Rest assured, we will keep you updated on their progress. Thanks to the love of their mother, Annie is now snugly tucked in with Amos in a warm bed, safe and with a full tummy. Both Annie and Amos will remain in foster care with Denisa while they grow stronger. Once we confirm that we have located all the siblings, they will be joyfully reunited with their mother and placed in foster care until space becomes available at Happys.

Coco – 3 year old female Australian Silky Terrier Cross Jack Russel Terrier

Image
Coco is a 3-year-old Australian Silky Terrier x Jack Russell bitch being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs and visiting children. Coco came into our care through no fault of her own after being brought for an elderly relative who became ill shortly after homing Coco. She was so worried when she first came in but this dog in the video has gone now and Coco is now the dog she always should have been. Those first few days Coco has been with us long enough now to be able to tell you everything you need to know about this wonderful little girl. For some reason, we are struggling to get the right match for her as a lot of what we call the proper dog homes where you walk the hill and dales, through the mud whatever the weather, want a bright clever little spark is not showing an interest in her as probably think she is a lap dog but she is so much more than that. Her mix is described as “”This is no sissy lap dog. The silky terrier is a tough character that...

She warms up a bit quicker to females than males in the home, but with some time and tasty treats on offer, she soon feels happier with everyone. Bobita could be homed with children but older may be better due to her being young and bouncy. Bobita is great with other dogs and gets along well with those she befriended in Romania and in her foster home. Unfortunately, she cannot live with cats or small furries. Bobita is housetrained and can be left but short ...

Winnie – 2 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Winnie is a 2 month old female Cross-Breed dog, born on the 6th of January 2024. At the moment, no specific age is given. She is expected to be a small/medium-sized dog once fully grown. Originally found alongside her mother and five siblings by the side of a road in Romania, a compassionate lady took them in. In order to shield them from the sub-zero temperatures, she constructed a small shack and provided them with food and water. Unable to care for them long-term, she sought assistance, leading to Winnie’s availability for adoption. Winnie exhibits typical puppy behaviour, characterized by her sweet and lively nature. Her ideal adoptive family should be prepared to invest time in nurturing a growing puppy, and providing support for her development and training. It’s worth noting that Winnie is not yet neutered due to her young age.
