Wilson – 1 year old male Pointer Cross

Image
This is Wilson, a male pointer cross who is 18 months to 2 years old. Wilson came into our care after being found straying and has been with us for a few months in kennels. He is a bouncy young boy who is always happy and waggy to greet us when we visit. Wilson loves fuss and cuddles. He loves company and we feel he will be an excellent companion for an active owner or family. As he is still young and bouncy, we feel he will do better if any children are teenagers and upwards. He has been neutered and is a clean boy in his kennel. He needs to learn some manners, but he is very food-orientated, so should be easy to train. Due to his bounciness, we think he may be best as an only dog, but could possibly live with a tolerant dog given careful introductions. Wilson is a lovely, friendly boy who has a lot of love to give. Homecheck and adoption fees apply.

But don’t worry, after a fun-filled play session, she’s more than happy to settle down for a cozy snooze in her crate. While Daisy is curious and confident in the comfort of her home, she can be a bit nervous in unfamiliar outdoor environments. That’s why she’s looking for a forever home with a kind resident dog who can help boost her confidence on walks. With a bit of time, patience, and gradual exposure to new experiences, she’ll blossom into the adventurous pup she’s meant to be! Daisy is already house-trained and even gets along famously with the savvy cat. She’s t

Cody – 10 month old male Cross-Breed

This adorable boy is seeking an experienced owner who can provide him with the care and attention he deserves. Annie – 1 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Annie is a 1-month-old female cross-breed. Found by one of our volunteers alongside her brother Amos. Once at the clinic, she was checked over and placed with little Amos, who was found roughly in the same location. We strongly believe that Annie and Amos are siblings, and their mother, who still roams the wasteland behind the apartment blocks, may be bringing her pups to safety one by one. We eagerly await tomorrow to see if their mother has any more puppies, and if so, we will reunite them all. Rest assured, we will keep you updated on their progress. Thanks to the love of their mother, Annie is now snugly tucked in with Amos in a warm bed, safe and with a full tummy. Both Annie and Amos will remain in foster care with Denisa while they grow stronger. Once we confirm that we have located all the siblings, they will be joyfully reunited with their mother and placed in foster care until space becomes available at Happys.

Coco – 3 year old female Australian Silky Terrier Cross Jack Russel Terrier

Image
Coco is a 3-year-old Australian Silky Terrier x Jack Russell bitch being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs and visiting children. Coco came into our care through no fault of her own after being brought for an elderly relative who became ill shortly after homing Coco. She was so worried when she first came in but this dog in the video has gone now and Coco is now the dog she always should have been. Those first few days Coco has been with us long enough now to be able to tell you everything you need to know about this wonderful little girl. For some reason, we are struggling to get the right match for her as a lot of what we call the proper dog homes where you walk the hill and dales, through the mud whatever the weather, want a bright clever little spark is not showing an interest in her as probably think she is a lap dog but she is so much more than that. Her mix is described as “”This is no sissy lap dog. The silky terrier is a tough character that

Bobita is a sweet, loving girl who forms such close bonds with her family. She loves to be close to you and won’t be far away from your side whether that may be. She warms up a bit quicker to females than males in the home, but with some time and tasty treats on offer, she soon feels happier with everyone. Bobita could be homed with children but older may be better due to her being young and bouncy. Bobita is great with other dogs and gets along well with those she befriended in Romania and in her foster home. Unfortunately, she cannot live with cats or small furries. Bobita is housetrained and can be left but short

Shine – 3 year old female Collie Cross

Image
Shine is a medium sized female Collie Cross aged around three years old. Shine fostered Norwich, Norfolk. Shine has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She is a sweet and quiet girl who can be a little shy at first but soon warms up to people. She walks nicely on a lead but is still a little wary when out and about so would need to gain experience over the coming weeks. Shine gets on very well with other dogs but would be equally as happy as the only dog in the home. She could live with respectful children aged ten plus. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle in and for you to know your d

Currently residing with a foster family, Eva shares her space with children, other dogs, and cats. Eva’s lively and cheerful disposition makes her a perfect companion for active families. Rozi loves playing with her ball and can get engaged with all kinds of toys for any amount of time once she gets the chance. Rozi is a gentle girl and takes treats from your hand nicely. She loves

Lara – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Lara is a small to medium-sized female crossbreed aged around two years old. Lara fostered Norwich, Norfolk. We initially met Lara on a trip to the Botosani public shelter in March 2023. She had a skin condition caused by a poor diet and looked terrible. She arrived here a few weeks later and looked even worse. She was terrified of us for quite some time but gradually her skin condition healed and she grew more confident around us. Sadly the damage left by the skin condition has left her scarred but it causes her no discomfort and requires no further treatment. Of course, it is noticeable and people do ask about her appearance but this just provides an opportunity to educate people on the poor conditions that she originated from. Lara is still quite hand-shy with humans but she is continually progressing in this area and this process can be speeded up in a more one-to-one environment. She is loving her walks now and this too is improving her confidence. Lara will need another do
