Nina – 2 year old female Podenco Cross

Nina is a 2 year old female Podenco Cross. She came to the shelter because she was found on the street. The man who brought her could not keep her because he was elderly and not in good health.

Nina was very scared when she first came to us but she has now blossomed into a beautiful, friendly and playful girl who loves her walks and splashing in water.

Nina still needs to gain more confidence and is not used to normal things but this will improve when she has her own home and family to love.

All our animals are chipped, vaccinated, and tested for leishmaniasis, Ehrlichia and babesia health tested before adoption.

In situations where the animal is old enough, they are sterilized and an EU passport is provided for those requiring transportation.”

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
