Hoobie – 8 month old male Poodle Cross

Hoobie is an 8 month old male Poodle Cross. Sadly, Hoobie came to us after he was left unclaimed in the pound.

Hoobie was heavily matted and initially, we thought he was a shih tzu until we shaved him off and found a different dog underneath, we don’t know what his mix is, but he has a hypoallergenic coat and will need regular grooming as he doesn’t shed.

Hoobie will need a home that allows him time and space to come to you – initially, he can be a little timid which is no surprise given he was picked up straying at such a young age, we dread to think where he came from and what sort of treatment he is used to, poor little guy.

Once he trusts you, he is an adorable little lad, the transporter that brought him to us fell in love instantly and was tempted to take him home with her, and I can see why!

Hoobie is a typical little lap dog once he knows you, he loves nothing more than cuddles, he will quite literally spend his entire day snuggled with you, and at night.

Hoobie loves nothing more than snuggling up on the bed with you at night time. He is house-trained and non-destructive. Hoobie mixes fine with other dogs but does prefer dogs a similar size to him, he is also absolutely fine with cats.

Hoobie loves to get mucky – if there is a puddle, he is in it! He loves to play ball and runs around like a little rabbit when he is in the secure field, he is fast, a real little pocket rocket!

Hoobie is fine to be left for short periods on his own and is not destructive.

Hoobie is a very sweet little dog, that desperately wants a lap of his own to snuggle up on, can you offer him this? Hoobie can be homed with children 8 years plus that are used to small dogs.
