Cooper – 1 year old male Border Collie

Cooper is a 1 year old male Border Collie. He is looking for a new home through no fault of his own, he is a friendly, bouncy, bright boy who loves people.

Cooper is great with kids, and we would consider a home with older, dog-savvy children aged 14+.

Cooper needs an active home, ideally with a family or person with experience of Border Collies and their specific personality.

Cooper is good around dogs and could live with another similar energy dog, subject to successful meetings, he has never lived with cats or other animals, so we would prefer a home without them.

Cooper is good in the home, house-trained and can be left for a few hours without issue (currently in a crate).

Cooper needs some work on his lead, as he gets a little over excited, he has no recall and is interested in everything around him.

Currently, Cooper is not getting the exercise and stimulation he needs so he is a little excitable about meeting, his new family.

Cooper will need to be prepared to work on redirecting his energy, on his lead manners and continue his training, but he is such a clever boy, with some time and patience he will soon be even more fabulous.
