Alfie – 1 year old male Spitz cross Chihuahua

Alfie is a 1 year old male Spitz cross Chihuahua. He found himself in the pound, the owners were aware but never came to reclaim him.

Alfie was a very scared little lad when he arrived so I dread to think what kind of a life this poor little guy has had to date!

Alfie is a typical small dog, in that he isn’t keen on strangers and will bark and grumble at them, once he knows you.

Alfie loves you and is a fab little dog, and so handsome! Since his castration he has been a typical happy little puppy in every way, he is full of mischievousness and just wants to play.

Alfie can be a bit full-on for older dogs as he doesn’t have an off switch at the moment but the guys he is in foster with, bug and small tolerate him well, he is also absolutely fine with cats.

Alfie adores other dogs, especially ones of a similar size to him, he loves to play ball when out in the secure field and loves to chase and play with the other dogs.

Alfie would excel at agility, he loves to jump up into your arms when you ask him to, he would also be fab for heelwork or similar, he is such a clever little lad and so eager and willing.

Alfie is looking for an adult-only home as he is initially timid, so he would not suit a home with children.

Alfie is much more confident with women but does warm to men once he has sussed them out. Alfie travels well in the car and is always looking for his next adventure!

Alfie walks well on the lead and is brilliant off the lead, but I have only ever allowed this in an enclosed field.

Alfie is a gorgeous happy boy who so desperately needs a forever home and family to call his own.

Alfie is the sweetest little cuddle bug ever once he knows you, and he always makes me laugh with his antics! Alfie is neutered, microchipped fled and wormed.

Boton – 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
